Well, perhaps....it could be something to where team chemistry is affected, too.

Quote:I'm saying you're trying to trigger yet another juvenile slapfight as you usually do.
Quote:We've got Lewis, and the rest really aren't important. With all the more pressing needs this team has, it makes no sense to look at TE with gaping holes at OLB.
Take a flier on Jake Murphy UDFA and call it a day. We aren't looking for a starter, and Bradfield is the jumbo set TE.
Give me any of these players before even thinking about it...
James Gayle DE
Larry Webster DE
Cassius Marsh DE/OLB/TE
Zach Moore DE/OLB
Keith McGill CB
Antoine Exum CB
Dontae Johnson CB
Bennett Jackson CB
Victor Hampton CB
Adrian Hubbard OLB
Lamin Barrow OLB
Carl Bradford OLB
Prince Shembo OLB
Trevor Reilly OLB
Shaquil Barrett OLB
Nate Askew OLB
Morgan Breslin OLB
Devon Kennard OLB
Storm Johnson RB
Lache Seastrunk RB
JC Copeland FB

Sorry to burst your egomaniacal bubble, but you don't move the needle as far as intelligent conversations go, anyway.
I'd suggest you drop the attempt to highjack the thread any further as well...

I want Larry Webster, but I think he converts to TE, and would be a similar player to Julius Thomas IMO

It was a serious question. Who are these TE we have picked up which now mean the position is set? What on earth is snide about that?
Quote:This front office seems to be very focused when they draft. They don't just jump around from position to position filling needs all over the team. They find the "BIGGEST" need(s) on the team and oversaturate the position(s). Last year, they desperately needed scheme fit defensive backs and drafted FIVE of them.
This year, in an offense heavy draft, they told us they were identifying offense, and they used their first four picks on QB, WR, WR, and interior OL...all three were our biggest needs on offense. So, they are indeed infusing the offense with talent.
With five more picks in the draft...I see us going OL again, (used on Bowanko)
RB (used on Johnson)
, another offensive player (missed here)
, and then, with two more picks, I can see us going defense...I'd like to think we go with a linebacker (used on Smith, Telvin)
, and then maybe a LEO prospect (used on Smith, Chris)
.
;
On D. The safety pool has dried up. Not seeing fits. There are very few corners left that are scheme fits. McGill, Desir, Walt Aikens, and Antone Exum. Once they dry up, probably in the fourth round, I don't see us going CB. Linebacker is still got talent there, and there is still some DL prospects left that are fits.
Quote:Well, Larry pretty much nailed this one.
Quote:The list of needs going into the draft was QB, pass rush, OG, C, WR, WLB and FS.
Got them all and added another back.
Caldwell hit a home run.
Quote:I'd say the draft results show we're more or less set.
We certainly didn't feel the need to go get one, now did we?
You sure nailed that one. Just like you always do.
