Justin Blackmon and Mike Brown are gone
Patriots would have taken Blake Bortles to slowly replace Tom Brady if he was available in the first (They just said on NFLN)
I'm telling you, we got one hell of a player.
I hope someone takes AJ before Houston does
Quote:Could Blackmon be traded?
For what a 7th rounder if we are lucky, his upside is far greater if he was to turn his life around than scrub draft pick.
Looks like we're done for the day......great job Jags!

smokescreen?

nobody smokescreens for day 3 lol
He appears to be great value and sounds like an excellent compliment to Lee. The is that we already had Shorts and have desperate needs at other positions such as center. My hope is we go center in the fourth. We can try finding a guard in the fifth, but unfortunately, will probably be stuck with Rackley as a starter for another year.
Quote:No need for rb
Agreed, not at this stage of things. Toby is the starter. No RB needed until at least round 5 but more likely 6-7.

No need to cut Cecil. You can play multiple receivers at the same time. Plus this is his contract year, and he hasn't shown enough to re-sign for the long term.
Same situation as TE Lewis.

Thats definitely nice to know Bortles was so highly thought of by others

Never suggested cutting him
Quote:We took another wideout? Seriously? I like Robinson, but does this mean we're parting ways with CS3?
CS3 is a free agent at the end of the year. Assuming our draft picks aren't busts, yes, I think it is safe to assume that CS3 is gone at the end of the year. He'll get starter money elsewhere which won't make sense for us to match as a backup.

I would love to partner Bortles with his running back from UCF, Storm Johnson. I believe UCF ran a zone blocking scheme... so fits perfectly
I think the jags traded up again???
Did we trade up again? Eisen just said we were on the board...referring to the pick we traded away by mistake, I'm assuming?

Henne and Bortles going out to get drunk tonight
Rich Eisen just said the Jags pick
Not that makes much of a difference, but does anyone know which 5th round pick we gave up? We have three.
