He's insanely fast, but insanely small, I just don't see a 175 LB man being able to hold up physically at this level.
I've watched him before. He's great in open space, but he goes down VERY easily, and doesn't have great hands. I don't see him anything more than a returner.

He's gonna get murdered
The speed is real threat with Archer, but I doubt he ever becomes more than a return specialist in the NFL.

Being undersized is a good way to have a short career in the NFL.

insert slight frame joke here.
Sproles 2.0?
I wouldnt mind him in the 5th round

7th round

Look at the holes this guy is running though.  The level of competition is equal to JU Dolphins.

Get out of town. You are either a Colts fan, Texans fan, or Titans fan. I'd say Stillers, but even they aren't stupid enough to come in here on draft day and blow up.

You know nothing about football.

I think this team has it's quota filled for small fast guys...

This little scrub made Khalil Mack look like a fool.  Stay away from Mack because he played in a scrub conference.

Fail. You need trolling lessons from TMD.  You constantly try, but it never works out for you!  TMD has mastered the art, give him a shout.

I brought up Archer in another thread a couple of weeks ago.  My comment was that I wish we would not have taken Ace Sanders last year, because Dri would fill that role nicely.....even better than Sanders.

I can see New Orleans taking Archer in the 3rd to replace Sproles.  Perfect fit.

I like Seastrunk a lot more as a speed guy

I was thinking more of a special teams weapon (and an occassional 3rd down weapon) since we haven't had any real "return" threat since MoJo used to return kicks and punts.   D. Robinson is just learning the return role and the RB role but I don't think that is something you can just pick up.  Good return guys have been doing it for years.

Mack was NOT recruited out of high school at all. It remains a slim chance that colleges could allow him to slip through the cracks. As organized as college recruiting is, we all know something is fishy when a very small college player becomes the top player in the NFL draft.

He needs a lot of character investigation. Oh, too late for that. All we can go by is the fact that colleges shift through high school seniors with a fine screen.

In the MAC, Mack stuck out like a sore thumb due to the fact that he played against the talent equivalent of junior varsity football players. Not hard for him to look large against MAC talent.

As plainly evident in the Ohio State video, Mack was able to take advantage of a team looking ahead. Ohio State did NOT specifically game plan against Mack. He was under the radar. There are a number of factors to consider beyond that including low morale amongst Buckeye players due to player suspensions.

A week later, Baylor did account for Mack and the video evidence is a hint of just how incredibly poor Mack's level of talent is. He will be no match for NFL offensive line talent.

Mack is perhaps a by-product of the incredible stress. Lots of unfair and inappropriate pressure on guys like Mike Mayock. Agents. Scouts. Media groups. They all have competing interests and Mike has to balance all that and still live some sort of personal life.

As we all know, Mike had to leave the Senior Bowl due to a "family crisis".

He may or may not even know the Buffalo-Baylor video we all have watched exists.
