If they'd just kept quiet and held a poker face, maybe they'd have had a better reception when they ultimately began entertaining trade offers.

If they trade down, the deal they get won't be anything close to what some here are predicting. I think in the end, they'll wind up having no choice but to stick with the pick at 1.
