Not very excited. Would be more excited if we were getting a Quarterback, but that's looking less and less likely.

I don't think we'll be getting a franchise QB. There might not be one in the draft in the first place. Whoever we get I think will be sitting for a year. I think until we get a QB to replace Henne... the team will be having some hard times (with a decent defense though, those hard times will be lessened a bit)

I probably would have still been very excited if the draft happened 3 weeks ago. Now i really just dont care and want it to be over.

Mack would be a great pick. Can pass rush, play well vs run, and can cover athletic TEs. He gives you a lot of flexibility in play calling and situational personnel.
Hes my 3rd option but I wouldnt be upset in the slightest.

I've come to terms with a Mack/Watkins pick. Still would rather trade down. But I'm fine with whatever happens, so long as whatever isn't an OT.

6 out of 10.

Fits me to a tee, although I'd add Bridgewater/Manziel/Evans to my list.
As for my excitement, probably a 9/10 or 10/10, this is a pivotal year for the Jaguars.

I'm strangely fine with an OT. It seems like the top OTs would be natural right tackles (from what I hear). Other positions, like LB or LEO, can be filled later and custom fit to our scheme. Then I hear it's a deep WR draft. If they get a QB from round 3-4, no biggie. I still think that guy could start over Henne. If he's bad, draft a guy next year.

Will Matthews/Robinson be better than Pasztor? I definitely believe so. Is it worth to take one of them over a #1 WR or a building block on defense in Mack? Or heck, even a QB if we believe there is a franchise guy in the draft? No, I don't think so. And at least 2 of those options will be on the board at #3. If we trade back and get 2 2nd's, my thoughts could change a bit (although I still wouldn't like it much, but I wouldn't be as upset).

Excited but nothing too crazy. I definitely can focus on other things in my life.

I hear Pasztor can play multiple positions, and they could switch him inside. I don't know. But I do know that OTs are a hot commodity. And it seems near impossible these days to have a healty line the entire year (that's like 5 injury free seasons at once). If they are really building a deep roster, a "solid" player like Pasztor would be a backup at tackle.
Trading back changes everything. Then Mack is back in play for me. But Mack at 3 to me means this guy is Von Miller. And I'm expecting no less than Von Miller. I don't want to hear "OH, he's doing so much more than the stat line suggests!!" NOPE. I want 30 sacks in the first 2 years. No less.

Any player could technically switch positions, I just don't buy the whole "oh, let's just move him inside and he'll be the same" argument. Maybe he would, but you never know, if he doesn't work out and only works as a RT than we have 2 starting caliber RT's with one spot, and Pasztor would become strictly depth and would be a waste for the most part.
We can easily find a decent RT prospect in the mid/late rounds that would provide solid depth. With a team that is as talent starved as our's, a RT when we already have a solid one with the potential to get better at such a young age/new to the position, I don't get hw it makes sense.
As for you thinking Mack would need 30 sacks in 2 years to show he was worth the #3 pick, well that is just crazy. Sorry, but rarely does any prospect do that, and Von Miller is a freak. Mack's job won't likely be strictly to get after the passer either, he is going to be an every down player that will never be a liability out there in coverage and provide a very good pass rush.
