No, I know you're good with him Mad Dog, no disrespect. That last post was meant as a good thing. In fact you're one of the few on these boards who will actually have a correct Mock Draft(at least the first pick) come tomorrow night. You're good, better than good in my book Mad Dog.

Nope, I live in JAcksonville, have my whole life, and got season tickets to our team next year either way, so whoever it is at 3, I'll be there in the seats, win or lose. Manziel's being picked at 3 tomorrow night not because I like him, Manziel's being picked at 3 tomorrow night because Dave/Gus/Shad like him.

it was one I put upon myself willingly(ie, nobody forced me). I didn't have to do it. It sprang from a conversation in a thread I had with FBT almost a week ago now. I came up with the wager rules, i said it, I made it. And it's no big deal to me. Because I'm so sure of what I've been told, it's like wagering that the sun will come up tomorrow. It's easy money. So much so Best84, that I get nothing in return out of the wager. I told FBT that I'm so sure, with what I was told confidently last week, that barring Texans/Rams doing something stupid,
the Jags will be getting Johnny at 3, and if not, I'll willingly leave these forums on my own accord if we don't.

As noted above, I'm a lifetime Jacksonvilian, Jaguars are the only professional team I follow, and I have no desire to leave this website. So why 'wager' at all? I'm simply that confident if what was said to me and who said it. It's that simple Best84.
Since the time I started on these forums, I tried to come across as very sincere, genuinely nice, civil, and overall a pretty decent guy(as much as on can be talking to strangers on a messageboard). I'm not 'that guy' to go around making predictions. I have never done so on these boards. I was simply told this by someone in the know, less than a week ago, and rather than toying with everybody, I've told my fellow Jaguar fans exactly what I've been told. Which is that we are getting Johnny at #3, it's been decided. And in keeping with my sincerity/genuineness on these boards, I've put my money where my mouth is. If I'm a liar,
or even just wrong about this, then I'll ban myself from the boards forever. That's pretty good insurance if you ask me.
Although good news for me Best84, this story has a happy ending, and I'll see you back here on Friday. :thumbsup:
