Sucks.

Isn't Colt Lyerla in prison or something?

Not that I know of but for a 7th round pick isn't bad for a guy who could be pretty good if he gets his head right.
Lyerla has had a few run ins with the law for cocaine and driving problems in the last year or so. He's also a conspiracy theorist, which should raise his draft stock with the diva.
I think McGill ultimately ends up at Safety.

Mettenberger is a bit too sluggish for my liking.

I like the Coleman pick I think a couple years down the line he can be a heck of a player.

I'm fully aware of his issues but if he can get his head right he is worth a 7th.. if not, it was only a 7th..
Cocaine and conspiracies

I was torn between Met and Murray. I'd take either there.

Just reading up on this guy, it doesn't sound like getting his head on straight is going to be an easy process. The guy is a basket case.

If anyone can do it, Gus can. Its a tall order though.

Only a 7th?

Shannon Sharpe and Marques Colston were both 7th round picks.  Obviously you don't always find them.  But the more you have, the more chances you have of hitting.  If you want to see long-term success, you've gotta find hits in the later rounds here and there.

I'd rather just draft Troy Niklas.

We already have one player in rehab. Gus doesn't need another headache, especially from a 7th rounder.
To each his own. I think he'd be worth it, especially in the 7th round.

It's more than just drugs.

He also has other issues. The guy went on a rant on twitter talking about Sandy Hook being a government inside job, and that the parents of the victims were a bunch of liars.

To each his own? Yup. 5 teams took him completely off their boards after everything that has transpired. I'm thinking the Jags are probably one of those teams.
Okay well aside from the 7th round pick, any other thoughts on the mock?
McGill is 25 years old. I'm not at all a fan of drafting a 25-year-old cornerback in the third round. 25-year-old quarterback, maybe. 25-year-old offensive lineman, depends on the circumstances behind his age, but not a 25-year-old CB.

I think he can be a pretty good CB in Bradleys D for a bit.
My guess is there's going to be a team in the 2nd Round that looks at Zach Mettenberger's arm and size and decides to overlook the major concerns with him.    NFL Draft's are always unpredictable.   But if Mettenberger lasts to Round 4,   there's a good chance that he was taken off double digit NFL draft boards.
