Quote:The ideal scenario is that the Dallas locker room is torn apart by the Romo faction vs. the Manziel faction and the Jags end up with the #1 pick in 2015.

From the words of Jerry himself. Take from this what you want 2 days from the draft:

Quote:“I”m not that gunned up over what a rookie quarterback could do for us this year,” Jones said Tuesday, via Clarence Hill of the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram. “That takes time. This is not rebuilding time.”...

...“It does not qualify for the biggest need,” Jones said.  “I will go as far as to say it is not our primary goal in the first round to be looking at a quarterback.  We’ve got a good one.”

Dallas trade.  We can probably still get Teddy B.

Dallas has a difficult schedule next year.  If we did pull off that trade, I believe it would end up a high pick (10-15).  If they make the trade and pick a rookie QB... potential top 5 pick.

Quote:I've seen a lot of trades tossed around in mock drafts. If we had multiple suitors offering approximate point value, how far would you trade back?
Why the heck wouldnt you take Dallas's trade?  Unless you truly feel that Mack is equal to Clowney, but you would have to be certain that Mack is the best OLB in a couple of the last years drafts to turn down that trade offer.

As vic would say, "I wouldnt worry about that"

I dont think Dallas would give up all that, now maybe if it was the Redskins (they gave away tons for RG3)

As Caldwell said, he'd need a 2015 1st rounder to trade out of the top 10. Looking at what it would take to trade from 16 to 11, I think the value is about right. And I used Dallas because there was a rumor talking about they wanted to make sure they got Manziel 'no matter what.'

In terms of the oft-ridiculed point chart it is also about equal to the other trades. The point of the poll is with a fair offer, how far would you be willing to trade down in this draft?
The Minnesota trade gives me Manziel and a chance to pick up Jeff Driskel next year using the Dallas 1st round pick (if Manziel ends up running with Drake & Snoop Dog)
