I think its funny how the Manziel fanboys can't see themselves as acting just like the tebowies did....the first step is admitting you have a problem. ....

I wouldn't expect ya'll to be very kind to the Manziel supporters if by chance we don't get him on Thursday. Hopefully you'll be humble enough to take some of your own medicine when we do...

Listen, I know a lot of you on these boards were burned by the Tebow fiasco, and that's exactly what it was, a fiasco. But you're really shortsighted if you compare every prospect Jacksonville is excited for to Tim.
Ask Colts, Redskins, Panthers, etcs fans. They'll tell you, yes, it IS actually okay to be really really excited about a quarterback in the top 3 and what he can do for your franchise.

We are, I'm thrilled over a number of outcomes in this draft. Just not the over-hyped and under-sized Manziel.

The difference is that I won't agree with it but cheer the team on anyway. That can't be said for the Tebros or Manzites, they all move off to whoever takes their boy, only appearing occasionally to tell us how much better it would be if we'd just bring him in from his job at the TV studio.

And yet each of them were hyped to THE number 1, or at worst number 2 pick. The fact that Manziel outplayed all of them, and yet some say may not go in the top 3 or even top 10? I'd say for his body of work, he's underhyped compared to QBs who've done far less but been hyped far more in the last few years. Just something to think about.

I have no problem with taking Manziel, but let's face it- nobody knows how its going to go. He may light it up, or he may fall flat. And please don't ever call him under hyped again.

I do not put Manziel anywhere near Luck, RGIII and Newton.
I realistically don't see the skill set, athletics or ability to the QB's above.
If on the other hand, Dave and Gus pick Manziel at 3, I will be stunned, but will still support the Jags.
HeadSlap
By the way, the Hyped bit pre darft and all.
It is just that. Hype.
