Quote:Wow. Not better than what we have now in Henne?
Henne had 13 TD and 14 INT with a 76 QB rating.
Glennon had 19 TD and 9 INT with 83 QB rating....as a ROOKIE and a bad team around him.
Oh yeah, I forgot. This is the same group that argued Mark Sanchez with twice as many interceptions was better than David Garrard in 2009 and 2010. LOL.
The guy is a gangly statue. If he's released, absolutely. Bring him in and let's see what he can do. To trade away picks for him? No thanks.
Hmmm... I think a lot of people are seriously selling him short. He played behind an O-line that allowed 47 sacks all year and pulled off remarkably better statistics than Henne.
Tired of seeing people base their arguments against QB's solely based on how they look.

Tampa wouldn't be so willing to part with the young QB if he was worth a damn. Look at where they are at.
The Jags will be better off finding their QB or QB's elsewhere.
Id rather skip him, at least wait til hes released then pick him up. use the picks for someone else.
Quote:He looks like a giraffe
Ha it's funny you say that because I've been saying that for a long time.
But I like Glennon.
At this point, i think Henne is a better QB than Glennon

This thread was made under the presumption that Tampa picks a QB in the top ten. Having Glennon, McCown, and a rookie makes for a sideshow at the position. Glennon is the odd man out because he's not as experienced as McCown, and not as talented as Manziel/Bortles/Bridgewater.
But that doesn't mean Glennon is bad, he put up an impressive season statistically despite being on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. At least he's proven that he's able to play well, unlike other QB's.

I'd take him if he were released, maybe....but I'm not trading for him.
personally i think tampa should keep glennon, he showed some promise. theyre wasting time and picks by trading him and investing in a rookie.
There's too many valuable punters I mean prospects too select in the third round. No way
Trivia Question:
Who was the last player traded for a draft pick(s) While the draft was in process?

Kirk Morrison?
No thanks. As someone mentioned I'd rather have Murray, McCaron, or Mettenberger.
Nobody is going to trade for Glennon.
Quote:Kirk Morrison?
I don't think Morrison was traded for a draft pick. Pretty sure the deal was that he was sent to the Jaguars in exchange for the Browns switching fourth-round picks with us...and jumping up a total of three spots.
Or was that Wali Ranier?

CB Darrelle Revis

...we passed up Jacoby Ford for Kirk Morrison?!
Ok, ok, it was Gene drafting, so we probably passed up Joe Schmo from Yukon Territories Technical College, but still.
Not Revis....he was traded just prior to the 2013 NFL Draft.
Same team different player...Tampa Bay Bucs
The last player to be traded for a draft pick during the NFL draft was....
LeGarrette Blount. He was traded by Tampa Bay to the New England Patriots for Jeff Demps AND a seventh round pick.
There were two other player for pick trades that took place earlier in last year's draft....
Davone Bess a fourth and a seventh from the Miami Dolphins went to the Cleveland Browns for a fourth and a fifth.
The New Orleans Saints traded Chris Ivory to the New York Jets for a fourth round pick.
