The Seahawks are doing a nice job locking up their defensive playmakers. They just made Earl Thomas the highest paid safety in the league. They also resigned Michael Bennett early in free agency and have Kam Chancellor signed long-term as well. It's also looking like Richard Sherman is getting closer and closer to getting a new deal too.

 

They're making it look like it won't be an issue when the time comes to re-sign Russell Wilson.

Very smart of them to do this.

They just might win a couple superbowls in the next 4-5 years

They're going to be in SB contention for many more years to come.
