I didn't realize the Jags were still in the running considering they basically said they had no interest in participating.

And someone on here constantly says Goodell hates the Jags and does everything he can to hold them down so I'm surprised it wasn't forced upon the team.

They don't have a choice, but they made it clear what they'd prefer.  Being the small market team they are pretty much eliminated them regardless.

 

That someone who thinks there's a grand conspiracy Goodell is orchestrating against the Jaguars is an idiot. 

I can't imagine Coughlin liking the idea.

....until you slowly worm your way around and start to have/see the same opinion about what Goodell's doing. 

 

Hell, you had hesitations about Khan previously....but now act as if you've been pro-Khan the entire time. 

 

 

As far as Hard Knocks goes, though?...It would have been nice for the fans, but not really a big deal anyway. JUst a distraction. The coaches I am sure didn't want it.

Conspiracy theories require very little intellect. If I ever have a lobotomy to get me down to your level, perhaps I'll start buying into them.  Until then, I'll continue to think it's idiotic to think the commissioner of the NFL is doing all of this simply to undermine one franchise, especially considering the fact that the owners are his boss. 

 

My hesitations about Khan had nothing to do with some grand conspiracy.  I made it abundantly clear what my issues were, and he has alleviated my concerns through his actions. Feel free to point out one example where I've acted like I've "been pro-Khan the entire time."

 

Unlike you, I don't express an opinion, then months later deny it.  That's what weasels like you do as you're playing both sides of the fence.  I made my issues with Khan completely clear on more than one occasion.  Unlike you, I won't tap dance away from that.  I own my views.  You just rent whatever position you think will get you the most attention.

Ehh, I still don't think if the Jags came out and said they wouldn't mind it or wanted to be on hard knocks they wouldn't get the gig, especially with all the talk about Gus Bradley and co.

Didn't the Mara's say they'd force Coughlin to retire if they were put on Hard Knocks?

To me Hard Knocks is something I wouldn't envision Coughlin even wanting to do. 

According to PFT the NFL has denied that it is down to three teams.

I doubt they'd force any team.  There will be a team or two who will welcome the cameras in.
