Quote:how many super bowls have sec quarter backs won in last 30 years
I don't know about the last 30 but since the 06/07 season SEC QBs have made the Super Bowl 6 times and won 3......
Quote:lol. If he wore gloves at his Pro Day we're not even having this discussion cause he'd be going first overall to Houston
Then why didn't he wear his gloves?? No reason not to if he feels more comfortable with them and it would have been to his advantage on his Pro day.
Did he want to try to show all the scouts that he could play without them? How did that work out for him?
There's no way he hasn't tried throwing without his gloves on before.
He just looked so nervous and uncomfortable to me during his Pro day. Was it only because he wasn't wearing his trusty gloves?? If so, then why not put them back on at some point during his workout??
I'm still a bit baffled as to why he looked so awful at his Pro day. It is supposed to be a scripted workout from everything I have read and heard about it.

I haven't verifies these numbers, but if true, they are certainly a positive for the SEC.
Purdue
California
NC state
southern miss
Syracuse
Maryland
Washington
Morehead
Miami of Ohio
Northern Iowa
all of those schools are comparable or lesser programs but your also miss guided the cardinals are 9-8 in bcs games the golden knights won a bcs game this year the conference is good enough. it is not the sec, but its competitive enough it not like they are some d3 school.
Listen, I'm a die hard Noles fan and have been for over 35 years now.. So thinking that I'm an SEC homer just because I want an SEC QB, try again..
a winner every ten years that seems more random when you consider the number of college conferences.
I never said sec homer I like jf, to but im not going to discount tb because he was in the aac. also I forgot about farve don't know how.

Rex Grossman went to 1
Peyton Manning went to 3 and won 1
Eli Manning went to 2 and won 2
I was just playing Devil's advocate, I don't feel conference means anything as far as evaluating talent....

The thing is all those SEC Super winners last name are Manning lol, those kids couldve went to Division two schools and still been great, they were born to be QBs.
Where a guy plays doesnt mean much

It doesn't.. But when you combine good QB talent from a larger school, you take him over the Gene Smith pick..
I agree I would really like one of the three qbs, but I'll understand if they pass. i just don't understand the division between jf and tb camps. I know a good bit about football, but I don't know why they aren't "good" enough for number 3. or why one is so much better than the other. what I do know is that we are probably about to get better.

Mizzou isn't a large school?
Quote:Mizzou isn't a large school?
Not all are winners, but the odds of getting a franchise QB from a larger school are far better than a smaller school.. I think I already proved that a couple of posts above..
Mizzou? They've been in the SEC for what? Two/Three years? Had Gabbert stayed his final year he probably would have been exposed more in the pocket.

Yeah, I guess those Manning boys kind of skewed the #'s a bit.
good night I have an Easter basket to help assemble, apparently.

I like both Manziel and Teddy and will be happy with either, but the people who hate on one because they like the other is only setting things up for them to diss the guy on ever mistake they make if we draft one of them, which is pretty sad.
If we get Teddy/Manziel with our second pick I will be happy.

To hold fans responsible for a GM's decision is stupid.
