Teddy will be a solid game manager IMO if he doesnt get hurt. I think he is a 2nd round QB prospect which is a compliment for the guy. If he sits a year I think he could be solid next year.

If Murray is off the board and Dave wants a QB in the 2nd I would be more than happy with Teddy

Quote:I would take Bortles.

I just feel that Bortles has more upside. He has more to work with in terms of being an NFL longterm QB.

TB's slight frame worries me and JFF is just to much of a risk/unknown for me. I like some of the intangibles he has, but I just don't know if his skill set will transform into being as successful in the NFL as it was in college. He simply won't get away with some of the things he did in college like just throwing it up for grabs at times. There's also no way he will be able to run in the NFL like he did in college and avoid injury.

Those things worry me about JFF.

I agree, I would take Bortles also if we could trade back a little. Thats the thing with Teddy for me I dont feel like there is much up side. He is who he is IMO. Im down with whoever Dave picks because I trust in the man and he hasnt showed me anything yet to think otherwise. So if he picks Teddy then im all for it but until then, eh.

I think its time to have one Teddy Brigewater thread, its sad he has to get the Tebow treatment, but its the Manziel lovers who keep making Teddy threads to bash him, not the Teddy lovers making them to praise him

From tankin for Teddy to Teddy is stankin. That was quick.

No, it's the hypersensitive Ted fans that are doing their best Tebow fan impression. There's absolutely no one else to blame for that, certainly not even the rabid and over the top Manziel fans. Even they are somewhat bearable in comparison.

Teddy don't stink, he is a decent QB

How many of these upside QBS have ever worked out to be anything more than backups? How many have achieved their full potential? Locker, Gabbert, Sanchez Freeman, Ponder, etc etc all these potential QBs. You know what potential means? Not a damn thing. A QB needs to be ready to play day one or somewhere that season. Hoping to Draft a 4th rounder with high upside and him to become a starter...it's just dumb.

Then why are you so "all in" for one of them?!?! Hypocrisy at its finest.
I hope dave can pull of a trade back and Mike Evans is still on the board.

Who is he "all in" for??

Whichever QB it is, he better hope they have some upside.
Newsflash: NFC Executive outs himself as crackhead.

He's all in for Ted, who has been pegged by at least one exec as a fourth round talent according to the OP's source. Say the exec is right, and Ted has a ridiculous fall, but perhaps something more realistic like second round. Yet, in a year or two he's proven himself in the league. That disproves his own theory with his own QB that you must take them in the first for success.

We know all too well simply drafting QBs in the first doesn't make them a success. Talent does regardless of when you draft them.
...What kind of NFL executive talks to Walterfootball?

Is it that easy? Do you just call the front office, and go "Hey, what are your thoughts on X Player?" and they tell you? Do you just have to have a press pass? Can you just fool them with a Diner's Club card?

"Yeah, I'm with the press. Walterfootball.com. Google mock draft. You'll find us listed first. If that's not impressive, I don't know what is."

Let's break it down further. It's one of:

Saints

49ers

Packers

Eagles

Panthers

Seahawks

Which do you think it is?

Probably stole someone's press pass when they took a potty break.
Quote:QBs I would take ahead of Bridgewater:

Manziel

Bortles

Mettenberger

Carr

Garrapolo

McCarron

Murray

There is nothing special about Bridgewater. Average arm. Average to good accuracy. Small frame. Not particularly athletic. Inarticulate, which leads me to believe he is not all that smart. Played against mediocre competition in college.

I think i'd go

Manziel

Bortles

Carr

Bridgewater/Murray

Garrapolo

McCarron
lol at Murray over Teddy, you guys are funny, I just don't see it with him, he chokes. I like McCarron.

God I wish wiseman was still here.
