I don't have a problem with TMD...I actually like him, probably because I don't feel the need to argue with him about it every time he goes off on one of his tangents. But hey, I'm weird like that...I like just about everyone on here. :thumbsup:

I don't take him seriously anymore, nor do I complain about him unless he derails a thread. For better or worse, he's a fixture here, except for those frequent 6 month breaks. I just find it funny when you stick up for him when people do exactly what he wants them to do.

We had a coach who did exactly that with a kid during a food fight in our cafeteria. The kid was one of the organizers who got out of line with the faculty. The teacher was a former marine. He wasn't reprimanded. They named the football stadium for him.

Every city needs a dump, every ship needs a cabin boy and every circus needs a clown.. Love clowns by the way and I have no idea why a lot of people fear them.. They're there to bring smiles to our faces.. Clowns rock..

Clowns are creepy little [BAD WORD REMOVED] that suck your soul from you when you're not looking!!!

My wife's a teacher, and I'm a parent.  And I agree that teachers definitely don't get the respect they deserve.  But I do think pushing a student is going a bit far.  There are other disciplinary actions available.  Jailtime seems a bit ridiculous though.  I could see a short-term suspension.  But I could also see a suspension for the kid.  

 

Teachers are often sadly under a microscope.  Anything they do, even at home, is considered representing the school.

I'm damn near 40 years old and an avid horror movie fanatic. I not only seen the movie on local TV when I was a kid, I've attempted to read the book on many occasions and own the dvd..

That's only one instance though.. Plus, if you remember right, It was an alien mutant spider in the clown suit.. So it really wasnt even a clown haha
