Will this forum be moved to the Other Topics category?


I'm kinda surprised we don't actually have more forums split.  We've got one for AFC South -- covering just three teams.  Which isn't very active.

 

Thanks to the Admins and Mods who got this working though.  Definitely a step in the right direction.

Thanks to you and everyone who made the all Sports Forum a reality.   Just from a reading standpoint,  it's much easier to find threads of interest this way compared to the previous setup.

How specialized do things need to get? There is already a separate fantasy forum, and now this. I thought that's what the "Sideline" forum was for, "everything else". Worked fine for a long time. Just curious. I am fine either way, but I think there's been a bit less of a participation in some of the threads with the switch.

I agree with the less participation since the switch. 

 

It worked better in the Sideline. 

 

I don't think this needed its own forum, IMO. 

I just wanted to get the feel from others. This isn't a jab or slight at anyone.

Was that last part even necessary? Why is everyone so PC conscious? Not sure how having an opinion on the worthiness of this forum = a jab or slight at anyone.

I asked why you felt the need to quantify your original post. There was absolutely zero reason for you to do so.

You're right.

The overwhelming majority of feedback we've seen on the new forum is positive.  It allows folks to talk about anything sports related in a forum specifically designated for all things non-football, but sports involved.  That leaves the sideline more in synch with what it was really intended to be there for, which is to discuss everything else.

 

Embrace the change. 

I think if it were to maybe get moved to "the other topics" section of the forum, it may not get so lost up here near the "testing" section.. Just my opinion..

Yeah, you could have a point here. I vote to move this forum to where the Sideline section of the forum is.
