His name is Maca-Fresh now. He wears a hubcap adorned with glitter around his neck and scratches on a record. THAT'S talent.
Damn, wish I could make it but..... $$$$$ are tight right now

Who the hell came up with the ticket prices? Why not 30, 60, 90, 160, and 250? Must have hired a consultant that did extensive research.
The Beatles 1964 concert at the Gator Bowl was soon after Hurricane Dora blew through. Here's an interesting account of that event. One thing that stands out is that the concert was to be segregated, but the band refused to perform unless the crowd was mixed.

Tickets were $4 - $5.

I'm there!!

Got my tickets although you can only buy the VIP packages right now. I got to see Ringo when he came to St. Augustine awhile back and really looking forward to seeing Sir Paul in June.

Where can you get the VIPs? Price?

Thanks
Isn't he the guy from Wings?  I jest, I jest.  I will be out of town, otherwise I would have made it a priority to be there.

Prices starts at $450 per seat for the silver package.  The front row package starts at 2K but they sold out almost immediately.  For all I know all the VIP packages are sold out by now.  Demand will be high because this is his only show in Florida.  The public seats go on sale on April 25th.  Good luck!  Smile

Here, there, everywhere.
McCartney hasn't played in Jax since 1964?????

Maybe I oughta re-think moving to Jax...

I'm used to being able to see almost any band I want to see in concert relatively locally (within a 50 mile or so drive)

Of course. Access to live entertainment should be a deal breaker when deciding on where to spend one's life.

He played the halftime show for the Super Bowl here.

If I hadn't moved here with my large family just to see a Foreigner concert, I would take your post as sarcasm.

The next closest show to Jax is Atlanta.  That's about 350 miles!
