Full Version: How high could Cody Latimer go?

He's got size (6'2 215), speed (4.4 40), production (70 catches, 1090 yards, 9 TD's at Indiana).

It seems like his name is really picking up steam the last few weeks. He has visited with quite a few teams picking in the late first. McShay now has him mocked to KC at 23. Which a month or so, would have seemed unrealistic. Seattle, San Fran and Carolina could be options for him as well. Seems unlikely he would be available to the Jags at 39.

He could go that high. I do think the jaguars could really use a big productive wide receiver. i personally like jordan matthews, but we are looking at no later than round 2 for either of these guys. if the jaguars take a qb in round 1, i just cant see them taking a WR in round 2, i just think its going to be someone on the OL or DL. in a trade down scenario in round one if we gain an extra second rounder, then maybe one of these guys will wind up a jag.
Dagnabit.

I wanted Latimer to stay under the radar.
Yeah he's definitely in the top 50 range. I still think it's a stretch to call him a first rounder but it wouldn't shock me. He is my #7 WR at best. No way I would take him ahead of Sammy, Evans, OBJ, Cooks, Adams, or Robinson. If you want to take him ahead of Lee, Benjamin, Moncrief, and maybe even Matthews then I wouldn't oppose that I think that's the range he is in.
