If we go qb who is it and what would it cost to trade up in round 2??..

If you trade up from pick 2-39, to insure getting a better tier 2 QB option at or around the 2nd round pick, you would likely need to move up just before Houston (and before Cleveland and Oakland).  The ideal trade up, if desired, would be the Seahawks at 1-32.  The trade charts seem to indicate that the move up would cost you the 2-39 and the first 4th round pick.  I think the top 4 QBs will be gone.  The choice would likely be between McCarron, Garoppolo, and Mettenberger.  I would take Garoppolo to develop.

 

However, I would not trade up, and just take the best QB available at 2-39, in your scenario.
