Quote:Funny you say that. A M&P Shield is what I now carry. I went with the lasermax sight over the crimson trace, but also had to change holsters. Do you own it in the 9 or .40?  I carry the 9. I have 2 other .40s and didn't own a single 9, I love that gun though. You're right. Can shoot it all day long. Also very concealable, but not close to as concealable as the LCP. I carry both fairly often. Shield on my belt and LCP on my ankle.
It's in the 9mm...I own a handful of other 9's so it was an easy choice. It's a very shootable small pistol.

The LCP/LCR are pocket guns and just disappear in anything you wear. Great choices if you may need them but, I prefer a little more stopping power if I can hide it.

Really wish we would go to open carry in FL as that would alleviate a lot of the restrictions from just carrying a full size piece when going anywhere. I love open carrying when going target shooting or fishing, etc. cops can ride out with armor plates and full size pistols strapped o the front without issue. Makes me a bit nervous that I have to hide mine...

I'm fine with concealed carry. The problem with open carry is that there is always going to be those anti gun psychos and losers who will call the cops and freak out when they see a gun, no matter if you're doing something wrong or not. It's not that uncommon in open carry states, and if you get the wrong cop out to deal with the call and the anti gun loser, it may not turn out so well for you. For that reason alone, I prefer concealed carry. I have no time whatsoever for anti gun psychos, nuts, and losers.
