This would be a shocking pick in my mind.

Trading down to pick him? Are you kidding me?

I wouldn't mind it in theory, but without knowing what Minnesota would be giving us first, I can't really condone that. If Minnesota is giving us enough value, then I have no issue with it.
Major yuck..

It says on there we traded down for 2 2nd round picks
I would rather Manziel but if Dave is not sold on him and Clowney is off the board like in this draft, a trade down is what I hope happens and Evans is the guy I want.

I don't want a WR at all early. Much rather grab a OL man like Jake Matthews there, a pass rusher like Barr, or Aaron Donald.

Yeah, and then it doesn't reflect that in later rounds....weak execution here, but I shouldn't be surprised, as its Walter Football....

Minnesota also doesn't have 2 second round picks in this draft, so I'd have to assume they meant one 2014 2nd rounder, as well as one 2015 2nd rounder....

And thats not good enough for me.

They'd have to bump that 2015 pick to a 1st rounder for me to make that deal.
3 Texas A&M players in a row in the top 10.  I wonder if thats even ever happened in the first round from one school let alone top 10

Blackmon went to Oklahoma State not A&M.

He's talking about this year alone, not to the Jaguars

Manziel, Matthews and Evans could all go in the top 10.

He's talking about this draft. The 3 potential top 10 rookies.
The trade scenario would need further clarification because swapping first round picks and getting 2 2nd rounders (they only have 1 to give) indicates they're giving up a 2015 2nd round pick.  I'd be asking for more from them if the deal includes 2015 picks.

I wouldn't mind landing Evans in the draft.  I think there's a real concern about Blackmon's ability to stay on the field that we need to address.  If he comes back and stays clean, you've given your new QB a couple of potent weapons to work with right out of the box.

I wouldn't mind this at all, it wouldn't surprise me if some evaluators have Evans ranked ahead of Watkins either, based off his size, athleticism, and overall upside. The Jaguars haven't had this kind of weapon and let's see, forever, he's been compared to Vincent Jackson by most analysts, I think he could be better than Jackson and is more like Brandon Marshall.

Dont like neither of the 2nd round picks, would rather Jimmie Ward and Van Noy

Oh, I see.

I don't mind the Lawrence pick, but I am not a Jimmy G fan.
Switch the Bucs and Jags picks, and I'm down. I'm not high on taking WR in the first. Even though it is somewhat of a need, I would rather go that route in the 3rd or lower.

GO JAGS!!

I really like the Evans pick but It would have to be for a better trade. That's about the only pick I like though in this mock
So they changed their mock draft....again????? They really nail it down.

Oh, and how defiantly they are about drafting non-elite quarterbacks!

Here's their previous debauched rationale.....

Second, the Jaguars obviously need a franchise quarterback, so that probably means that general manager David Caldwell won't select one. In the wake of the Chad Henne re-signing, it's been speculated on our 2014 NFL Draft Team Rumors page that the Jaguars will pass on a signal-caller at No. 3 and choose one later in the draft. This clearly isn't a good strategy, but Caldwell is a guy who spent a pick on a right tackle last year because an Internet article told him that Blaine Gabbert would be better with upgraded protection on the right side.

All they want are more quarterbacks! More quarterbacks! Let's draft them all first!

Walter Football is irrelevant. They know nothing about football.

A quick look inside their draft war room.

Honestly I'd prefer QB of choice and 2nd round WR over Evans/Jimmy G in this scenario.
