I'm pretty sure most people here aren't Bills fans, but they're fans of the NFL. As such, they have opinions on things that transpire around the league. A team changing ownership is a big deal.
I'm right there with you that their relocation doesn't bother me at all either. I'd prefer any team but ours be on the list when these discussions come up.

Absolutely agree... but I think the show was a bit unfair to Trump, ultimately suggesting he was the "who" without actually coming out and saying it.
There was much more wrong that lead to its demise than just Trump. The owners where throwing more money than they could afford to lure the best players away from the NFL (which they were very successful at doing for a while.)
I think he'd make a great owner. Entertaining if nothing else.
It's a show very much worth the time.

Granted, I don't spend a lot of time focusing on something that happened almost 30 years ago, but I don't recall ever seeing the "fold and sue" scheme pinned on anyone but Trump.
He could afford the team, but his recent antics tell me he wouldn't be a great owner. I don't dislike the Bills, but if he became owner, I would feel obligated to hate them.
Im pretty sure he would not be the only owner.

Considering the NFL's public concern regarding gambling, I think more than anything Donald Trump's casino ownership will prevent him from becoming the major owner of the Bills or any other NFL franchise. The same reason why I don't think there will be an NFL Franchise in Las Vegas or any part of Nevada.

There are plenty of ways around that though such as transferring ownership to a family member, disallowing betting on NFL games at his casinos, etc.

He won't give up his casinos. This talk about buying the Bills is just another bit of self promotion and nothing more.
Maybe he'll partner with the NFL for an apprentice like show instead. NFL job, Trump makes the hire though a show modeled after his format.
That's the kind of entertainment/promotion he could bring to the table, even if not as an owner.
Have them help promote the brand throughout the course of an NFL season, which earns the winner a job with the league, etc.
I'd be surprised if the NFL owners voted Trump in.

It's quite possible that's his ultimate end game, and that by threatening to buy a team, he's going to use that as leverage for a new NFL Apprentice show on the NFL Network.
