Now that Alex Mack is no longer in the picture here is my new mock draft, based on needs/BAP, IMO:

I am assuming the first 2 picks are Clowney (Texans) and then Watkins (Rams)

1) Jake Matthews OT -  OMG NO!!!!! I know people will hate this mock, but in all honestly out side of QB, o-line is where we have the biggest need. Our Qbs were sacked 50 times last year. Most of Matthews college experience comes from playing at RT so IMO he is not only one of the best O-line in the draft, but also the best RT by far.

2) Travis Swanson C - By now most of you all have stopped reading. But like I said we have glaring needs on the O-line. Travis has 1st round talent and would be a great pick up and immediate starter on our O-line. If Manziel or Bridgewater falls into the teens I could also see us trying to trade back into the first to grab a QB, but for this mock I am doing no trades.

3) Jordan Tripp OLB - Honestly, I don't think any linebacker in the draft outside of Mack fits our defensive scheme better.

4) Dion Bailey FS - Note quite Earl Thomas complete package, but he is great in coverage and rarely out of position when reading the field.

4) Aaron Murray QB - To me he is the best pure passer in this draft. And though he might be there in the 5th I think he grades out much higher than anyone else left on our board.

5) Walt Aikens CB - Good press corner prospect.

5) TJ Jones WR - Prospect who has good - great route running ability, and reliable hands.

5) Brent Urban DT - Prospect to develop behind Red Bryant.

6) Wesley Johnson OG - Zone blocking Guard

6) Cody Hoffman WR - Big Target.

7) Tre Burton TE - Versatile TE prospect that has natural hands and good route running ability. However, probably needs to bulk up and refine blocking technique. Could be a sleeper at TE.

Sorry terrible mock draft we are not drafting a RT at 3

Pastor and Bradfield two guys who were not even drafted played better then Monroe and Joeckle, why the heck would we waste back to back top 3 picks on Tackles?

I think luke joeckel will end up being a good LT but the proof is there

I would prefer Weston Richburg there, but I doubt he makes it past Colts. I know they signed Costa, but its not like they are completed sold on that guy.

You are entitled to your opinion, but I strongly disagree that they played better than Monroe or Joeckel for that matter...And they both hardly played for our team this year.

Regardless, Dave has mentioned Pasztor as his starting RT more than once this offseason. I really don't think he's looking at a tackle until it's depth time on day 3 if at all.

They have also mentioned that Henne is the starting QB....does that mean we won't draft a QB at #3....is that official???

I would lose some faith in Caldwell if we go Tackle at 3 again.

I quit after Jake Matthews tbqh.  If Clowney is gone, i hope we're able to trade down and get something more out of it.  An extra 2nd would be nice tbqh.  Especially in a draft like this one.

We'd get 50 sacks with a All pro OL just because of Henne/Gabbert. Other than C and RG, the OL is fine.

I agree. We don't need to build the freakin' great wall of Dallas with Caldwell's first 2 drafts.
Sorry....one of the worst mocks I have read.  I can be talked into taking Matthews with the first pick, but didn't like a single pick thereafter.  In the second, Travis Swanson struggles against big nose tackles, and he will see 3 of them twice annually in just the division.  Richburg or Martin are better centers, if you feel the need to take one that early.
