yea this really only matters if somebody scores really low like Vince Young and his 7.
When you hear Bridgewater speak, he sounds like a guy thats dumb. But he only needs to be smart on the football field.
Quote:So a score of 20 on the wonderlic is average and equal to the IQ of 100..
IQ test have also shown to be inaccurate so... Who knows. Some people aren't test takers.
Just another reason to draft Johnny!
Quote:Surprised Bridgewater scored so low. Intelligence is supposed to be one of his strong points.
His hype as floated a lot of misconceptions.

True, there is that. Football intelligence and intelligence in general aren't necessarily the same thing.
Here is a very good site to take the wonderlic quiz, It times you just like in real life, I got a 28 and I was just guessing on a lot of the Math stuff due to time, plus I didnt study at all, like these players get to do.
You guys should try it, man you have to have a serious learning disability to score a 6 or just over thinking and getting stuck on a question and time runs out

I don't think people should put much emphasizes on this test. I mean, its unimportant, yet at the same time, it can be. It's basically the same reason why advanced mathematics is taught in schools. Are these kids really going to need algebra and calculus to be a working member of scociety? Some will, but not many.. It's taught because advanced math teaches problem solving skills that working adults ARE going to need and use.. Pretty much why most professors want you to show your work.. I think the wonderlic is basically the same.

that dude hit the gene pool jackpot. Smart, athletic, tall, good looking(as the ladies tell me). Really wasnt even that great of a college QB. Obviously not a good pro QB. But had enough natural athleticism and height where football evaluators only saw potential. Enough potential to get him a D1 football scholarship. Enough potential to earn him a first round draft grade. Made millions of dollars because of nothing more than his height and strong arm. Now he gets to be the backup in SF. Will make a ton of money. Maybe luck his way into a super bowl ring. Lives in a cool town.
Say what you want but the dude hit the jackpot.
