Quote:Lol. I love how people will bash a guy for making money when they would do the exact same thing. It's pretty sad. Jealousy.

I can't speak for anyone else. My concern is his job should be learning what it takes to be an NFL QB. I don't buy that he just signs his name and has no further involvement in a business venture he owns. Furthermore, I think the trademark itself is fairly dumb and has a very limited market. Many NFL people have expressed concern with his off-the-field activities and this reeks of a guy who is a narcissist who is desperate for attention. If football is his priority, he should eliminate extracurricular nonsense like this. I cannot fathom this being a business venture that will make him a lot of money. But it may make one or two GMs second guess taking a chance on him. It isn't the biggest deal in the grand scheme. But it is one more thing people can look at as a potential area of concern. Where is his head truly at? My initial point is that he could have waited til after the draft to do this.

I understand your concern, and it may be legit. But I think we make more of this stuff than it deserves.

Being a good QB is his job, but the rest of it is his life. He should be concerned with both. Most of us find time to devote to both. As a matter of fact, most of us find fault with people who only seemed concerned with their job.

I sure can't think of an athlete who will be more scrutinized over the course of his career than Johnny Football.
