Not sure if this has been tossed out there if it has sorry.

If one of the 3 QB's (TB, BB JM) fall to the 20-25 range would you trade back into the first round to grab one? Assuming we take Clowney, Mack or Watkins with the 3rd.

And if so what would it take.

I wouldnt and I dont think Dave would either. We have 11 picks and they have stated multiple times that they are looking for 12-14 picks.

Unless of course Dave is in love with one of them..

Only person that I would do that for is probably Bridgewater, because that's a massive drop that I think the front office would be willing to sacrifice maybe the 2nd this year and next year. I'm not sure what it would take but knowing that all of those Qbs would be down that far whoever we'd trade with would probably know we're trying to get one of them and ask for more than the pick is actually worth.

I'd absolutely consider it, if we could come away with Clowney/Mack/Watkins and then Teddy/Manziel I would be thrilled.

If Dave is in love with one of them, he probably drafts him at 3.

Unless Clowney is there Smile
Nah
That would depend on the asking price to jump to that spot. If it's a 2nd and late fourth or fifth then yes, I'd take that deal. If it's a 2nd and 3rd or next year's #1 I'd pass.

That's a pretty good jump. You are talking at least a third, likely more.

I fully agree with this. The possibility of coming away with 2 of any the above mentioned names would be hands down the best first round draft Jaguars ever had.
Yes. I'd trade 2nd, 3rd, and a late rounder for a qb I thought could be the answer.

But like others said if Dave passes on a qb first then I doubt he likes them enough to trade up.
For Bridgewater or Bortles yup...dependant upon the asking price of course don't want to give up too many of our picks.
Depends on a lot of things.  If they did it, then I wouldn't be upset.

I'd be happy with that.

Really hope if we go the "Let the QB sit a year" route, then we draft him this year.  Otherwise that means two more years of Henne starting.  And that makes me  Sick

I doubt Dave would do that. Trading up into the first would mean you are tying your job to that QB. If he was that confident in one of them they would have been chosen at 3.

If he thought he could get his QB and a top notch Defensive player or something else... why wouldn't he?
According to the worthless charts, but its all I have to go on, it would probably take our current 2nd and 3rd to move up to the later 1st range mentioned.  It appears that I am in the minority, but, yes, I would do it if the QB is a good value there.

Pat Kirwins latest mock has Teddy out of the First round and the raiders trading back in for Carr.

wow. I do think this draft is going to be one of the most interesting and 'must watch tv' drafts in recent memory.
I'm not trading up in one of the deepest drafts in NFL History.
