I would take Bridgewater, if no trade down opportunity exists. I could pick up a WR later with starting capability.

I don't want Mack at 3 so it wouldn't upset me if he was one of the first two. Clowney is a guy I would like at 3 and hope he's available. I'm not an advocate at taking a WR at 3, especially given where our current roster sits. WR in the top 5 isn't a good idea. They don't change the game enough or potentially effect the game enough. Outside of the likes of Calvin Johnson I'm not sure I'd consider it. Unless the WR is far and away your best prospect on the board I'd avoid it.
If Clowney isn't there at 3 I hope a trade down presents itself for one of the tackles or QBs.

To those saying Bridgewater, doesn't it send up red flags to you when a team like Houston would rather take Clowney over a QB considering they have one of the best passrushers in the league and one of the worst QB situations?

Teddy, Sammy, or Johnny

Should the Chargers have been concerned the Raiders took Robert Gallery or Phillip Rivers?

As for the original question- Still Watkins for me

EDIT: Also Oakland has the worst drafts ever. A kicker in the first round? DHB?

Quote:http://walterfootball.com/draft2013.phpIn his defense, they did have Geno mocked to the Jags most of the offseason last year. The site really started slamming the Jags after the Caldwell "No Tebow" statement. There is a Tebow love fest on there, just as big as the one that went on here a couple years ago.
Really?

Plenty of other examples. I wouldn't use Houston passing on him as concern.

I have a feeling it will go:
Texans - Clowney
Rams - Watkins
Jaguars - Manziel/Bridgewater - whomever the FO feels is the better QB talent.

I can't recall any instances of this.

Manziel or Watkins

He had Geno Smith as #1 all year last year. Take his opinion as you may...

Manziel in any scenario that he is available.

Also worth noting that your question is valid for the Manziel and Bortles crowds (is there a Bortles crowd?) as well.

St Louis took Chris Long over Matt Ryan

Great call. There is not a Bortles crowd, is there?

Quote:St Louis took Chris Long over Matt RyanThat is actually a good example. Both of the Longs got taken before Ryan did. The only difference (and I'm not saying that it makes your post moot) is that I don't think STL had anyone even remotely close to the caliber of player Watt is.

This is the easiest question anybody has asked. If you have the opportunity, you take Teddy.
