He's probably still creeped out by that Photo Shopped picture of you and him skinny dipping in the new stadium pool that you sent him.

You wish that pic was photoshopped...
Just guessing here. But I doubt the helmet turned out the way they expected. You'd have a hard time finding anybody that likes it.
The Rolo chocolate melting on my dashboard look a like helmet is not going anywhere.
That's the tweet I got from Shad.

The Syracuse one looks fine.
Its a very simple fix using that as a template.
No. It's good. The young people like it. Old folks will have to deal with it. It's not the 70's anymore.
I'm simply amazed at the attention these helmets are receiving. I couldn't care less if they sported a bright red Mohawk. It's all about the wins.

Yeah, ultimately you're right but where there's room, it's fine to look at improving other aspects of the team as well.

I'm older, and I like the helmet
concept.
Its the execution that needs tweaking, which is why I brought the example of the Syracuse helmet which is the correct execution of the concept that our helmet is trying to show.
Sorry, but as of right now, our helmet is NOT good. You are one of those people that likes it simply because its new and like typical young people you identify it as YOURS as your own words insinuate above. Unfortunately, you are too false prideful to realize that the execution of the idea in its current form sucks and needs fixing.

And hardly worth the time/energy, too.
Quote:Thats ugly as hell, as our all two tone helmets.
I actually like that look a lot.

the Syracuse one, right?...
That Syracuse helmet is ugly.
They had a classic look. Why change it?

Their previous "classic look" was boring and kinda ugly if you ask me.
I like the new Syracuse look better.
And I like the Syracuse execution of our helmet concept better as well.

Indeed.
Anyway, keeping in spirit. I like the helmet. Not only that, the more others don't like it, the more I do.

This got a 'like' from me.

I'll notate this on the calendar. I actually agree with you for once.
I wasn't a huge fan to start with. They grew on me. The more I hear complaints the more I like them too. Especially if I hear complaints from fans from other teams.

Lol.
I can't.
So Shad is sitting around with Tony, and he says - "Son, I've got to wonder about this fan base sometimes. Here I am, working my butt off, spending all kinds of money, trying to make the team and stadium better. You know, something to be proud of. And what do I see on the message boards? Three or four pages about the @!%$$ helmets!
"The helmets! These people must watch a lot of Bravo."
Then Tony tells Shad: "Just wait to you see how many pages it takes to discuss whether we should keep Brian Sexton!"
Shad: "Oy vey!"
