Quote:To be honest, they could go on 24/7 until the day of the draft and it still wouldn't add up to what we've had to put up with from the Tebow and Ted crowds already.
Houston abd Dallas will have to deal with it similar to Tebow w/ Jacksonville

It's a lot like the throwing exhibition at the combine. Whether or not the receiver catches the ball is irrelevant. What they are looking for is the timing, velocity, etc. That would suggest he placed the ball where it needed to be, "spun the ball," and showed disciplined footwork. Reports were he satisfied all the questions teams had about him in those areas.
Ted connected at a higher rate, but the ones he missed were awful. Fluttering passes (even the ones that connected) and balls that weren't close to being on target due to less than ideal footwork and grip. His performance generated more questions, rather than answer open questions.
With Manziel, he went above and beyond with the circus atmosphere which obviously made it stand out. A spectacle compared to the others, regardless of whether or not you necessarily buy into it.

It's no where near the level it was for bridgewater.

Quote:He spits nails, blows fireworks out his rear when he has gas and has accomplished grown men gushing over him like a bikini model. He's a gamble for sure. But IF his game can translate to the next level, he could be the next big thing. Three may be too high, but I expect him to go in the top ten. ..even if he never pans out.
Tebow, Superman AND Chuck Norris all wear Manziel pajamas.

Both his percentage and how much fewer passes he threw than Bridgewater and MAnziel. And that to the fact some(including me) of those on these boards who were watching his pro-day live, noticed that he looked gassed pretty early on. :ermm:
Both on game-tape and on pro-days, Bridgewater and MAnziel are twice the passers of Bottles IMO.
