Quote:I doubt Blackmon plays another snap as a jag but I don't want d Jax, supposedly he's a gang member and a locker room disaster.

If B14CKMON never plays another down as a Jaguar then he'll Never be reinstated into the NFL... I predict that he will again suit up in a Jaguar uniform...

That's Just Me Thinking...

I choose Not Yet...

I sure hope he doesn't get that lifetime ban, Yoda. Just making it clear I wouldn't want Jackson on the team. Don't think anything is special about him, other than his speed.
That undersized WR that can't run routes averaged 1,020 yards per season in his 6 year career.  I would not trade for Jackson given the fact that he'll most likely be cut but the dude is a playmaker.  Much more then what we've had here in a long time.

Blackmon over Djax any day

This is the truth.

DJax is a very good receiver that unfortunately brings baggage and more importantly a Contract.

The JAGS are not going to dangle a draft pick for that Contract.

If he is released, then he is a FA, but who is going to pay what he wants.

A contender could offer him a show me contract, Like SeaHawks, Bronco's or Pats.

But to commit to what he wants against the baggage?

There is a reason that no one has come forward and he will probably hit FA.

Nope.

He is an excellent receiver, but.... we can find and develop excellent receivers from the draft. We don't need a 'prima donna' attitude with a ridiculous price tag. While I'm not ready to totally give up on Justin Blackmon, neither would I think it wise to totally count on him given his track record.

When he's released, I think we could be in play.

Yeah he's being released as he wont restructure so no reason to trade anything for him. I'd show some interest as far as signing him, but I think he will probably take more money elsewhere to someone that will overpay him.
