His deep accuracy is questionable, he over shoots his WRs often. My question if we do draft him is can that be fixed? I don't think arm strength is an issue but the deep accuracy does seem a bit off. Other than that, you have to love his decision making/Footwork/Pocket awareness etc etc.

I'm not worried about that. Throw intermediate all day. We need a deep threat WR anyways.
I don't think it is much of a concern. The deep ball will come with time and rhythm.
It's also largely because of the offense. Most offenses you scan from your deep routes to your shallow routes in that order. UL was the opposite, Teddy normally wouldn't scan to his deep routes until after he had exhausted his short/intermediate routes. This left him with very little time to adjust and he was just throwing it up a lot. On the examples where the deep read was his first option he actually had really nice accuracy.
I get all of this from a really good article I read a while back and unfortunately I can't find it again. I will post it if I see it again. It showed a lot of GIFs w/ examples of both. Very solid. I don't worry about Teddy's deep accuracy at all, ULs offense was simply designed not to hit the deep pass very often.
I still say if we pass on him we will regret it, especially if he slips to Tenn
My concern with Bridgewater is that he can end up a texan or a titan.
My concern is his durability in the NFL because of his slight frame.
I'd say accuracy in general. I watch some highlights and see them running a lot of curl routes, hitches and short in routes. He's throwing to guys that are stopping and catching the ball; I really didn't see him being asked to hit a lot of 'moving targets.'

When he does he's good at it. Haven't seen a single person give anything but praise for his anticipation, accuracy and ball placement. Except for his pro day of course.
I'm starting to wonder if we should just get Clowney or Mack and either trade up or hope Mariota is there when we pick next year. I am one of the biggest Teddy fans here but my gut feeling is he will not be picked at 3.

agreed, his mechanics are a concern also. I do think Teddy will be a solid game manager i just dont want to pass up elite talent at and get a game manager at 3.
McCarron is a game manager, Teddy is not.

Short of Andrew Luck, I think every QB is going to get picked apart, and not be seen as a 1st round pick. Next year's crop will always look better. And then when it comes, the next year's crop will look even better, and that year's crop will be picked apart. "No quarterbacks are worth it in the 1st round." is probably a phrase that will be said a lot until we actually get a QB.

I don't think that people feel QBs aren't worth first round picks (at least the majority).
There is a difference from going in the first round compared to being picked in the top 5 or even top 10. If we trade down I am all for taking one of the QBs, and if I was making the choice I would probably pick Teddy just because he is less of a risk.

And if Teddy (or whatever QB you'd pick in the 1st round) isn't available when you trade down?
I mean I'd be fine with trading down, then selecting a QB. Assuming that whoever we want as QB (we as in 'our scouting team') would be available.
Quarterbacks often go before they should because of how important the position is. If you think you've got a franchise guy, and you don't have one, I think you take him.
