Could the Panthers offseason get much worse?

I'd give up a lot for Cam. He really is maybe the best athlete in the NFL but what really makes him stand out is how much work he put in between winning a national championship at Auburn to starting week 1 for the Panthers. A completely different player in terms of passing. He may be an athletic freak, but it takes hard work to change the mechanics that you have used your whole life. What's scary is that Cam will only get better as a passer. He'd be perfect for any team. Panthers would never let him go, but i'd easily give up our 1st and 2nd and then next years first and then sign him to a big deal. We still have tons of cap space. I hate how Carolina is taking his weapons away. They will be going HEAVY on WR this May. Steve Smith still had at least two more years in him. He is a gritty player. Gus would absolutely love the guy. Not saying we should sign Smith, just saying I hate the Panthers let him go.

Ya it would two overrated players on the same team one can't tell what a defense can do and the other can't catch sounds like a interception combo too me

I've never liked Cam, but he's proven my doubts wrong. A first rounder would be a pittance to pay for a player like him.

He may be a good player, but I just don't like him. He is a showboat who sulks like a child when things don't go his way. And with what they have done to his receiving corps it could be a long season for him. He has skills. No doubt. I just don't like the person.
