Quote:Justin Blackmon leads the league in receiving yards and wins OPOY!

Boom.
Can Blackmon even come back this year? I thought I saw something that he couldn't come back this year even if he's turned his corner. Is that true or can he get eligibility back for this year?

He has to be accepted back by the league but yes.
7 - 9 Season

Top 15 Defense

Top 16 Offense

Two defensive pro-bowl players

Two different starting QB's

Ace Sanders returns a Punt and Kick-Off this year for a TD (One in London, One here at home)

Jacksonville will actually take two QB's in this year draft. In RD2, they will select Jimmy Garropolo, hoping he can be groomed into the franchise QB. And then, later on in RD4, they will be taking Brett Smith, from Wyoming, also in hopes of grooming him and potentially competing as a back-up for a few years and for a future trade.
Jonathan Cyprien and Chris Clemons make pro bowl. Jags finish 6-10. Dwaye Gratz has 5 Interceptions. 3 thrown By Andrew Luck. Defense finishes in top 10 but offense finshes 26th. run offense finishes in top 12 but pass defense struggles with Henne and Rookie Qb and Blackmon suspended first 8 games.

Justin Blackmon wins Comeback Player of the Year.

He doesn't "explode", but he does very well.

The league can re-instate him before the 2014 regular season if they determine him ready/worthy.
Dakoda Watson becomes a household name

If we go with a defense/offense combination in the first two rounds, they both win OROY and DROY
Henne takes the Jags to the playoffs this year.  He's re-signed and is the starter for 8 more years winning 4 super bowls.

We make a run at the playoffs and make it as the 7th team.

Henne 4-evr!!

So Bold of you! What other bold statements do you have? Cecil with catch more than 1 pass? Henne will throw Td's and Int's?
I had a dream that we signed Matt Schaub and went 10-6 and made the playoffs.

It was weird, because in the dream everyone was chanting "Matt! Matt! Matt! Matt!"  and I was like "Wait, Matt Scott?"  and everyone else was like "No, Matt Schaub!"

Blackmon was back too.

doubt it will come true.  But I've had Prophetic dreams before.

We start the Jameis watch in week 3.

Quote:You figure top 5 D + top 15 O = only 8-8 with a fairly easy schedule? Hmm
Being the 15th ranked offense isn't exactly stellar.

And what do you mean "fairly easy schedule"? We have NO IDEA what the teams on our schedule will play like. I count 5 of our 8 wins coming against the AFCS.

The combined records of the opponents are 116-140 (.453)[which is watered down by the tinhorns and a Redskins team that won't be a 13 loss team this season]. The Jaguars will face three teams that finished the 2013 regular season with double-digit victories (Indianapolis Coltstwice, Cincinnati Bengals and Philadelphia Eagles) and will face three teams that finished with double-digit losses (Houston Texans twice [will we sweep them again?], Cleveland Browns and Washington Redskins[like I said, they won't be a 3-13 team again]).

The Jaguars will face four teams that made the playoffs in 2013: Indianapolis (twice), San Diego Chargers, Cincinnati and Philadelphia. Only one of those games is at home (Indianapolis).

We'll start slow but the Jags won't put a rookie in just because, Henne will be the QB when Blackmon comes back and we come on strong at the end of the season. Maybe start 2-4 or 3-5, finish 8-8, which I will gladly take.

Top 5 D and top 15 O doesn't always translate to wins. Didn't we have a top 5 D a couple seasons ago and still had the fewest sacks and won very few games?
1.Cyprien makes the probowl with at least 5 ints and 5 FFs and a ton of big hits and ball tips to force incompletions plus 2 crushing sacks on untouched safety blitzes.

2. Andre Branch takes the LEO spot from Clemons and our draft pick and has exactly 10 sacks on the year. (Went really bold)

3. Denard Robinson finishes  the season with at least 500 yards between Rushing/Receiving and 4 tds. (Actually not all that bold)

4. Dwayne Gratz nabs more INTs and pass deflections then any other CB in the AFCS.

5. We take David Fales or Aaron Murray in the 3rd/4th and one of them blows Henne away to earn the starting spot. (Okay again not THAT bold)

Someone is gonna take a bubble screen to the house.
Jags led the nfl in sacks and Clowney actually kills someone on the field plus breaks rookie sack record.

Someone less lazy than me want to find the 2013 edition?

I'm sure there will be plenty of comedy gold on there.

I'd like to see it, but that board is mostly long gone.  Maybe someone who is slick with the wayback machine can find a glimpse.

Here's another fun longshot:

Marcedes Lewis racks up 780 yds receiving and 7 TDs.
