Quote:My issue with taking a qb in rd 1 is that he will be expected to start. Henne was signed to be our starter without having to worry about a guy looking over his shoulder. I dont think we would have signed Henne if we had any intentions of taking a guy at 3...That being said If we traded back from 3 or traded back up into the first rd for Carr then maybe it makes a little more sense to get one...i guess....

I just dont see it at 3...pick 39, sure. Id be happy with Garrapolo there..or Teddy if Miracles happened jk...

The deals signed by Cassell and Whitehurst have shown Henne's deal fits in with the average for a fringe starter/likely backup. He is not a guaranteed starter by any means.
Quote:Greece I enjoyed your mock draft, but I think Travis Swanson can be had in the 3rd if not the 4th and if he is not there then Stork will be there in the 4th for sure. if I may, i would like to add my 7 round mock after the FA wave we just had. I would like to see a trade so mine will have a twist. Atlanta #6 and #37 for #3.

We know most of these players, described a few I thought needed notes. Especially Hart.

Do not want Amaro.....was exposed in the TE metrics.

We need a TE, what's your opinion on him (Amaro)?

What I didn't like about him is looking at the charts, most of his catches were screens/ short passes. He's not the kind of seam -buster you want from that position. You want TE's that were the best in getting those chunks of 15-20 yards in the middle of the zone/ seam, and the best TE of this class in that aspect were Niklas & Ebron. Ebron however, has a much higher drop % than Niklas. When you also factor in Niklas' superior blocking, he's got everything you want....and yet, he'll probably be under-drafted.
