I know alot people who had addiction problems and turned it around. The first step to recovery is not blaming everybody but yourself. You are just being an enabler by making excuses for him.

Jim Irsay is an adult, who needs to take responsibility for his actions. He turned himself in yesterday (or maybe 2 days ago) to a rehab. Hopefully he gets the help he needs for his
