What about a 2 or 3 year deal?

If I'm forced to chose an older veteran DE I would rather have Jared Allen.

He's rumored to be Chicago's choice to replace Peppers.

He's been linked to Seattle too. If he's chasing a last shot at a championship I'd chose Seattle.

Dont see him coming here, but Id be ok for a short deal incentive based....Id take ware too but neither will happen

Isn't that why you even bother creating scenarios like this? So you can [BLEEP] when they don't happen.


So when we sign Young tomorrow you can whine and moan about 3 sacks this and Julius Peppers that.


Get some new material clown.

Peppers will go somewhere like Denver, NE, Seattle, teams that are close to winning it all

I can't recall a free agent class that had this many once elite pass rushers in it at one time.

I think if I had to make a play for one of these guys, it would be Ware, but it appears he's headed to Denver.

He's really been slowing down the past few years.

If we were a mature playoff caliber team with a pass rush need to put us over the top, I would give Peppers a short term deal. However, given where this team is in the building process, I would pass on Peppers, to give the reps to a younger player.

How did he do in Chicago last year?  I still think no.

Peppers? Pass. No way. Age has caught up to him. Caldwell has shown he wants to get younger with guys on the rise. No thanks to Peppers. I think he'll end up with a contender.

I wouldn't really call that an attack. He made an inference based on past experiences on here.
