Either he's a legit #1 WR or he's not good and not worth bringing in.
He has produced, albeit with Manning. But even having two good #2's in Cecil and Decker is better than having Cecil only.
Im gonna say Decker, Mack, and Byrd all get similar deals. If I had to pick one I take Byrd.
Is anyone really worried one way or another? Jags aren't going to sign the guy.

You could say he produced before Manning considering who was throwing to him.
I wouldn't say he's completely a product of Manning considering he had over 600 yards, 8 TDs, and a 13.9 yard average with Tebow throwing him the ball. However, I'd rather get Golden Tate or Emmanuel Sanders since I feel they compliment our current WR corps better.

I still think Cecil can be that #1 guy, he's got a nack for getting open.. he made Joe Haden look like a boy going up against a man, he has 150+ yards that game if he didn't have so many drops.. he had issues with drops this year but make no mistake he can get open.

Consistent qb play is everything.
Poised, smart, accurate qb can take us very far.

Sure, no reason to sign anybody unless we have a new QB. No reason at all.
Not that I'm advocating signing him, but not signing a player because we don't have another player is just stupid. If you like a guy and think he could be a piece in the offense, you sign him if the price is right. Everything else will work out however it's gonna work out.

i'd be lying to myself if i thought decker wouldnt come and be a #1(until blackmon comes back)... #1/#2 stuff is kinda subjective to what team your talking about and here, the guy would be a #1.

Blackmon's status is up in the air.
So what else do we have?
A guy in the last year of his deal that cannot stay healthy in CSIII
A QB convert who showed some flashes last year in Mike Brown
A smallish slot guy who can help in the return game
And nothing else
We need to sign a receiver. Not saying it will be (or should be) Decker but we have to add somebody.

Shorts injuries were minor, they came near the end of both seasons so he was kept out for precautions..
It depends on how much he's asking for? If it were along the lines of the Bradley Cooper deal then yeah. But I think we have other more pressing needs than a WR.
