I like Posluszny at MLB but your olb need to be bigger then Hayes and faster then Allen and Posluszny. Who are some line backers you think jags should or will target in draft or maybe even free agency. Thank You

Khalil Mack (would have to take him 3rd overall)
Christian Jones
Telvin Smith
Ryan Shazier
Any of these guys would be an upgrade at the OLB than what we currently have.

I did some research via the Jags message board and it looks like this Durant dude is going to be a freak of nature. I'd get him at all costs.

Justin Durant was pretty disappointing. When is the last time jaguars actually developed lb? Daryl. Smith? We've had guys like Durant,Ingram,Iwuh,B Smith, etc. this is why I'm glad Coach Duffner is gone.
I really like telvin smith, he may be smaller but his speed and Instincts are second to non. Kid just flat out makes plays
Dont sleep on Laroy Reynolds..

I feel like he's being groomed to be Poz's replacement when the time comes.
Anyway, if we draft Mack whose spot would he take? Russell Allen?

Mack would take on the role of LEO/DE I thought? So more of a replacement for Babin?
Yes? No?

I think Mack would replace Allen at Sam. U could create pressure by blitzing Mack and Branch or whoevers at the Leo.
Durant was good idk what yall talkin about. He was just injured near the end of his time here.

Mack would play Will or Weakside linebacker. See Bruce Irvin.

Yeah thats makes since. I wouldn't mind starters being Reynolds,[BLEEP] and Mack.

See, I'd put him at Sam and stack him on top of the TE right at the LOS.
Move the Strongside DE outside and that way you can stunt with Mack and the DE if you wanted to. I think it's pretty safe to say that if Mack is on the roster, he's going to be one of, if not the, top defenders here. Why not put him right where the Offense wants to go? For years, this kind of Defense was called an "under" defense, and the best player was placed on the LOS, right in front of the Offense's worst blocking lineman, the Tight End.
This draft seems to be slim pickings. Probably better to overpay someone a little to get it right short term, especially with so many other needs and more (and likely better prospects) to choose from at other positions.
Mack in the 1st Van Noy in the 2nd. problem solved
Fix the front end and the back end, the LBs will fix themselves.
I can't be the only one hesitant to draft a LB #3 overall.

If you play a 4-3, you don't draft a LB at #3.
Pick up Telvin Smith to play WLB. I think Reynolds will challenge Allen for the starting role for the SLB this year.
