Hi, Jaguars fans!

Don't forget to move your clocks one hour ahead for the upcoming Daylight Saving Time. DST begins by early this Sunday morning at 2:00AM Eastern Standard Time. We will both eventually gain an extra hour of daylight, but also lose an hour of sleep. This DST is effective until November 2. Enjoy! B)  ^_^

Absolutely love daylight savings time. I like the fact that it is going later in the year too. Love when it is light outside until almost nine. Gives me longer to work out in the yard. Always feel like more energy when it stays lighter longer.
This isn't an official daylight savings thread. How do I know it's real?

You'll know if it is or not on Monday if you show up to work an hour late.

Only work half the year??

I consider my work year to start around April 15 and it ends just about July 4th usually - depending on weather.

You work 3 or 4 months of the year and you have the gall to put a "thumbsdown" above??
And people say I complain... :woot:
If you make enough money at whatever you do to only have to work a few months of the year, I wouldn't be complaining.
If we had more chicks on this site, they'd be flocking to your PM box in 3....2....1...

Nah, its not like that. I grow mainly wine & raisin grapes for a living. Not too much growing happens in winter. There is work outside of those Apr-Jul months but it's not on a strict clock like things are in the summer months. During the winter, there isn't anything I have to do at any one given time, just things I need prepared before bud break in March.
So what I mean when I say I have to go to work is I go from working in the field maybe 120 hours a month during Nov-Jan on my own schedule to working 70 hours a week on Mother Natures schedule from Apr-Jul/Aug.

I hope you have fun with this.
I'll just be happy to not be driving home in the dark after work.

Have you tried turning on your headlights? I hear that helps a lot when you're driving in the dark...
