Then all of their teammates decided not to do anything football-related.

Who cares, it's just a doo doo bowl game.

It's an interesting case for the players to take a stand on considering the charges that were involved.  Definitly a slippery slope. 

 

I'm not so sure why the school is suspending them now though that charges were dropped and there was nothing done to find them guilty of any crimes.  Sounds like a Goodell type situation.  I think even the coach is standing behind the players decisions.

 

To suspend guys that were simply in an apartment where a crime took place is a bit harsh.  Who is to say they even knew something happened?  I'm sure there is a lot more to the case that none of us know about.

 

Jagsfan32277, do you ever provide anything of insight or is it your goal to use as little brain power as possible?

I know next to nothing about this so on the surface it seems odd if they were cleared of everything.  However maybe a bunch of these guys were already walking on thin ice due to past infractions and this was one incident too many.

The players have not been charged of anything yet. That is not the same as being cleared of everything.
