Between Jacksonville and Miami? What would my options be? Also, which airport is bigger and are flights cheap?
I'd take the Amtrak, they have a BAR!
Which airports are bigger? Unless you fly out of a small private airport somewhere, I think you pretty much only have three airports to choose from. Jacksonville international, Miami International, and Fort Lauderdale. No clue on prices though...
Is hitch-hiking with a bottle of MD 20/20 in a brown paper bag considered public transportation? It's not the most reliable method, but it's really really cheap. :yes:
I flew into Miami last year from Ca. Obviously different but here was my experience.
Flights through Fort Lauderdale were a bit cheaper, but by the time you took the 45 minute cab ride to Miami, you were paying just about the same - not too mention you then had to spend 45 mins in a cab.
So unless you have rewards points or flyer miles with an airline that only goes to FLL, I'd choose between flying into Miami Int. or Amtrak.

Absolutely! Plus, you greatly increase your chances of being on TV. Shows like Disappeared, Cold Case Files and Evil I are always looking for new stories.
OK, I just checked, the Amtrak is $107 one way and it's a 9 hour trip so..........
