Calvin Pryor is our Earl Thomas

So Stephen Morris is the our Russell WIlson?
That's a hot take right there.

No.

Stephen Morris is absolutely terrible. He's a turnover machine, and doesn't have much of a brain.

Quote:Just assuming you drunk posted this at 1:40 am.Yeah, let us just assume that for now. But still... It was a thought. Jedd Fisch system guy and all. But I guess it had to be the Henny, hoping we would land Pryor in the draft. Thinking about it, he seems more of a SS, not to mention he'll probably be drafted in the mid to late 1st round.
Kinda thought we could play Jaguars draft in the mold of The Seahawks

No thanks

The only way he should be in Jaguars training camp should be as an UDFA.

I think Morris belongs to a body of QBs like Connor Shaw, Murray, and Boyd who are absolute studs, but are inevitably going to fall way-way down on draft day in this QB-heavy draft. But all of them would be stellar late-round pick ups IMO. I personally would love to pick up Stephen on the Jags, with a pick in the 6th maybe, or especially if he somehow goes undrafted(which I don't he will).

Please God no.

I agree Johnny, lots of high upside QB picks later in this draft. Didn't Fisch coach him at UM? And Fisch also seems like a pretty confident guy. If he thinks he can mold the potential he might be a late round/UDFA target for us.

Stephen Morris is anything but a stud.

Must have low standards.

Do not want.
Not as a 7th rounder and not as an UDFA. He's worse than what we already have...we don't need anymore of that.
I wish the kid the best and hope he lands somewhere but not here.

undraftable

I was getting ready to get on the Morris bandwagon when they played FSU this year. I really believe he played his best football..only in the first half. He threw a corner TD pass that I seriously doubt anyone in the League today could have thrown better. And then the second half started and I saw what everyone else saw..a 7th rounder or UDFA. Bring Morris in as an UDFA for a camp arm, who knows. His arm is pretty great, but that's about it. He looks like more of a project than Logan Thomas

I still like the idea
