Pretty simple question.

Now that we pretty much have an idea of the top 5 players in the draft, would you have rather went winless this season for the #1 draft slot or would you be content on how things played out?
No. The wins mattered for a host of reasons.
I'll offer my opinion as well.

I've very content on how things played out. At #3 we are guaranteed a top QB if we choose to go that route. Also since there is really no consensus on who the #1 player should be I don't see how we are really missing out on anything.
NO! We still have a good spot and the enjoyment of those few wins made us know that this franchise is going in the right direction. I wish we would have won more. This draft is deep.

Not 0-16, but we would be picking #1 if we had lost just one of the Texans matchups. It would be silly for anyone to say it wouldn't have behooved us to have lost one of those. We lost out on I believe it's 28 total draft slots because we wound up in a 5 way tie for 3rd.

Agreed with this ^^^^^

I'd never want to finish winless, but finishing with the top pick, otherwise in a dead season? Yes please.

I wanted one extreme or the other - had the Jags kept on winning in December and finished strong I would have been cool with that too....but as it was, we did our usual and finished right in the middle. Nowhereland. Purgatory.

It would have, if we just won one game then none of our players improved like they did at the end of the season which helped us to win 3 out of 4.  I would rather have the number 3 pick and probably still get one of the 2 players we covet than the number one pick and all our young players still not improving.  Anyone with that logic, ah nvm.

The number 3 pick is middle Nowhereland Purgatory?  lol

It sucks this year. Look at what it did to our 2nd round pick, and subsequent rounds...Our 2nd round pick is like 39th or something.

Had we finished with the 1st pick we would have had the 1st or 2nd pick in every round.

It really doesnt matter if you have a good GM.  It didnt matter for GB, Pitt, Ne, Sea., SF, etc.  We are still picking high in every round.  You just have to pick good players and it doesnt matter where we pick.
I never wanted 0-16 that will be a stain on the franchise for ever, I would want the 1st pick but not 0-16

I would rather have our players improve and Dave believe he can still make the right pick than our players not improving and having more holes and have a pick a couple spots higher

No. I never want to see us pick #1. I will never be on board with a "tank". I have spoken out too much against the Colts doing that to get Luck (If you don't think the Colts tanked, you're crazy). Our team needed something to build off leading to next season. It also showed that Gus could still have our guys working hard even in a season that was lost and pointless

Right in the middle? They are picking third you whiner. Not exactly "the middle".

Exactly, if that was the case we would of won one game.  Marks didnt play the way he did, our rookies didnt improve, and our secondary wasnt as good as they were.   Branch probably didnt play that well either.  Those are the main reasons we went on to win 3 out of 4 and looked good towards the end of the season.

No. There is no Andrew Luck or Peyton Manning in this class, maybe not even a Robert Griffin III. Even if there was, I think that this team accomplished more with those four victories than they would have by tanking for the top pick.

Not this again!!!

Teddy Bridge > RG3
I would rather see the players improve and us pick 3rd than have the 1st pick. My slight gripe is that I wish we had the 3rd pick in every round instead of the lame 6 way tie we see ourselves in.
