1. Houston Texans- QB Blake Bortles

2. St. Louis Rams- WR Sammy Watkins

3. Jacksonville Jaguars- QB Teddy Bridgewater

4. Cleveland Browns- DE/OLB Jadeveon Clowney

5. Oakland Raiders- QB Johnny Manziel

6. Atlanta Falcons- T Greg Robinson

7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- OLB/DE Khalil Mack

8. Minnesota Vikings- OLB/DE Anthony Barr (Barr presents just too much upside for the Vikings to pass on, there won’t be a QB on the board that would warrant going this high, pass rush is their second biggest need)

9. Buffalo Bills- TE Eric Ebron

10. Detroit Lions- CB Justin Gilbert

11. Tennessee Titans- WR Mike Evans

12. New York Giants- ILB CJ Mosley

13. St Louis Rams- T Jake Matthews

14. Chicago Bears- DT Aaron Donald

15. Pittsburgh Steelers- CB Darqueze Dennard

16. Dallas Cowboys- S Hashean Clinton Dix

17. Baltimore Ravens- WR Odell Beckham Jr

18. New York Jets- WR Brandin Cooks

19. Miami Dolphins- T Taylor Lewan

20. Arizona Cardinals- CB Kyle Fuller

21. Green Bay Packers- OLB/DE Dee Ford (depends on his medical)

22. Philadelphia Eagles- DL Timmy Jernigan

23. Kansas City Chiefs- WR Marquise Lee

24. Cincinnati Bengals- DE Kony Ealy

25. San Diego Chargers- OL Zach Martin

26. Cleveland Browns- QB Derek Carr

27. New Orleans Saints- QB Jimmy Garoppolo (the Saints are reportedly looking for Brees's successor high in the draft, they could go a number of different ways with this pick, but this is a good situation for a guy like Garoppolo).

28. Carolina Panthers- WR Kelvin Benjamin

29. New England Patriots- DL Louis Nix III

30. San Francisco 49ers- WR Donte Moncrief (this is a pure upside pick, Moncrief has Josh Gordon type upside, his best football is ahead of him)

31. Denver Broncos- OT Morgan Moses

32. Seattle Seahawks- OG Xavier Su'a-Filo

Saints are not taking a QB in the first round, high in the draft could be 2nd or 3rd round pick, and I doubt the Browns pass on Manziel

I like Garoppolo but him in the 1st is a reach

Polian thinks someone is going to trade back up into the 1st for him. I personally don't know about that but thats what Polian said.

I can definitely see the Saints taking a QB, just like the Packers did a few years back with Aaron Rodgers. At some point you have to draft and develop a guy, Garrapolo has big time upside.

Not that it means a whole lot, but this is a tweet from Dane Brugler.

CBS Sports' Dane Brugler tweeted there has been "first round" talk about Eastern Illinois QB Jimmy Garoppolo amongst NFL evaluators.
"I told you guys back in Oct. that there was some "1st round" talk with Garoppolo among NFL guys. Doesn't mean it'll happen, but def possible,"

The Saints arent some loaded team, they can get a development QB in the 2nd or 3rd round, its a lot of solid guys in this draft for that, 1st round they need somebody who they can plug in, not somebody to sit for 3 years, remember Rodgers was expected to go number 1 way different situation.
I think Garoppolo is Italian for Ryan Nassib

I'm liking Garoppolo the more I see.  This guy is going to throw a whole lot of interceptions in the NFL, and I'm OK with that.   But I'm not sure how scouts view the level of competition he played against/with.

The Packers weren't a loaded team either, if the Saints have a first round grade on Garrapolo they'll certainly consider taking him. Drew Brees (while great) is 35 years old and cost approximately a fifth of their cap space, as I mentioned before, they can obviously go a number of different ways with that pick, but QB isn't out of the question.
I have no idea why anyone would take Watkins with a draft that is stupid deep at WR.

I don't think the Rams draft another WR. It just seems like they draft one or two every year

The Rams will draft a WR, OT, or will trade down. Watkins is by far the best receiver in this draft, and is one of the best WR prospects in the last 4-5 years, they'll consider him.

They keep missing on them, Brian Quick, Tavon Austin, Stedman Bailey, Austin Pettis, Chris Givens etc.. don't inspire a lot of confidence.

yeah especially for a team with an elite QB with other holes to fill

I could see a team trading back up to get him though

How can you say that Tavon Austin is a miss? He may not have played up to where he was drafted, but he certainly has time to improve. He will make the jump much like CS3 in his second year.
Bridgewater, the Geno Smith of this draft,  2nd round.

yeah I had him on my FF team and he was much more productive in the 2nd half of the season

I'll admit I missed in on Brian Quick, thought he was gonna be a good one
Quote:Bridgewater, the Geno Smith of this draft,  2nd round.
yeah except the fact that he played in pro style offense and is much more consistent on tape from game to game

Because there hasn't been too many 5'8 WR's that have been productive, he has an extemely limited catch radius, which means it will take an extremely accurate QB to maximize his potential, which is limited. I have no doubts he'll improve, but how much can you expect out of a guy that's 5'8? Especially considering where he was drafted.
