It's an impressive chin. LOL.

I think the name is Czech in origin.

Dat jawline doe...
If we draft Manziel, he'll be it. Outside of that is Gus. Richard Sherman is currently the face of the Seahawks. All you have to do is answer this simple question when NFLN or ESPN has a player on who is it?

After taking Luke in last years draft I assume a tackle might not be taken so if the Jaguars do draft #3 overall..

That person will be in the lime light I assume, and depending on position possibly the face of the franchise for years to come.

Hmm Clowney!!

Gus until they get a franchise QB.

Chad Henne

Poz could always be the man of the hour, after his ProBowl year, his toughness, and stats, and character...

If Clowney is drafted I think he will be the face

He ran an unofficial 4.47 and benched 21 times... in the combine so far.
Khan and Bradley would be the only faces we have.

Gabbert

You kidding me.... It's Gabbert always has benn... Geesh...!

Agreed. If we draft Manziel he fits the bill to be the next face of the franchise. He is a flashy player, and hopefully he could make the step up.

As for someone on the existing roster, I'd probably say Shorts or Poz would be the best candidate at this point.
Bryan Anger

Gus, in the future it might be Aaron Murray
Jackson De Ville

Seriously though, I agree with one of the other posters. I'd rather this team not have one face when you think about it.  The fact that some people believe Mojo is the face of this franchise is not good.

I don't mind if we get a quarterback that becomes the face, e.g., Patriots, Saints, Broncos, Colts. That would be ideal.

It's not good when Adrian Peterson represents your entire team, or in this case, Mojo.

I also agree that a coach being the face is also ideal, and I believe that's what the Jaguars have attained. Seattle is a very good example of what teams need.

A great coach that all the players respect. A level-headed quarterback that does what is asked and doesn't lose focus. Playmakers!!! Richard Sherman might be the face of their franchise in some people's eye, but not me. He's just the loudmouth of the team, which I have no problems with. So long as he backs it up.

Maybe the face of the franchise for the Jacksonville Sharks
Clowney jumped over 10feet too, if the Jaguars miss that opportunity to draft him they will regret it everytime they have to play against him.

He said he wanted to be drafted by Atlanta in order to be closer to home, and I'm sure Mike Smith's DC style as a HC doesnt hurt.

That being said I dont think he would be too upset being drafted by the Jaguars.

It'll be Clowney if the Jags are smart.

All this motivation bullcrap... You think Clowney hasn't been hearing it all year? A man doesn't just take that in stride and say "Oh well".

You know it'll be in the back of his head every time he puts his hand down. It may not look like it bothers him, but there's simply no way he's going to conform to the media's stereotype of him after how much "He's good, BUT..." comments he has received.

This perceived lack of work ethic is going to cost him millions if he isn't picked #1, which he absolutely would be if it weren't for said perception. Even if he is all about the money, you guys don't think Clowney won't realize he lost MILLIONS because of that?

Clowney would improve the defense just by being in the starting lineup. Andre Branch could record a sack every game for the entire season and coordinators will still have one eye on Clowney at all times.

Agree.

Bingo. If you can get a jilted Clowney, and have him play the team that passed over him for #1 overall two games every season; that has to be an attractive scenario.

The number that is really impressive about Clowney, however, is the 1.56 seconds he took to cover the first 10 yards. That's what really should have Houston, St. Louis, Jacksonville, Cleveland and Oakland general managers and head coaches excited. - NFL Nation

When a 6'5" 266lbs all muscle man rans a 40 yard dash in 4.47 Unoffical 4.53? officially

added in with videos of the man crushing RBs & QBs behind the line,

I dont see how the Jaguars dont draft him at #3 if Texans & Rams pass on the guy.
