What is your best (realistic) scenario for the first two rounds?

 

My favorite: 1. Mack 2. Carr

 

Mack, IMO, is much more versatile, and has a higher work ethic than Clowney. I didn't think Clowney's work ethic was an issue, but yesterday Gus said in an interview that "We can't fix anyone's work ethic." (Or something to that effect) With that being said, I think Mack's combination of playmaking ability (leads NCAA all-time in FF), good off-field stuff, and overall talent will put him above Clowney on our board.

 

As for Carr, I think we'll be lucky if he's there. He's got the best arm strength in this draft, sneaky athleticism, and a very high football IQ. He, too, has phenomenal intangibles (family, wants to be a minister after football), and impressed Gus at the Senior Bowl. I think he has top-10 upside and game manager floor, and that's what you look for in a QB pick.

If Ford is gone, I would take Van Noy

Jadeveon Clowney in the first. Bridgewater in the second after he slides like Geno Smith.

 

No chance of it happening though.

Trade back (Oakland or Atlanta), pick up another 2nd rd pick: 1.) Manziel 2.) Ford 2.) Z. Martin

If Clowney is there when we pick then my first two rounds would be 

 

1) Clowney 2) Stephon Tuitt

 

If Clowney is gone then my picks would be

 

1) Manziel 2) Gabe Jackson

Teddy, Aaron Donald 

Teddy and any good pass rusher (Ford, Attachou, Crighton, Murphy, Lawrence, Lynch...whoever Dave likes best).

 

If not pass rusher though...Teddy and Easley would be filthy value too.

Ebron is more likely than that scenario.

1st - Bridgewater or Bortles

 

2nd - Crichton or Dee Ford or ASJ

Bridgewater then Ford

Clowney in first Ford in second then pick up McCarron in the third.  Boom Superbowl for many years to come.

Trade down . Watkins, ford, and Manzeil in the 2nd if he falls
