Quote:Logan Thomas, fastest qb and the strongest arm.
Couldnt hit the broadside of a barn though lol

He could but it'd be only once in about every 10 tries. Boy when he did hit the barn that ball would blow right through the wall.
Bridgewater.

Shorts and Blackmon would instantly get that much better. He can throw the tight man coverage throws that Blackmon needs and excels in the timing based throws shorts needs.

I could see Manziel being good for Blackmon in that he will try to feed Blackmon but his roamy freelance style doesnt do much for the finesse timing based Shorts.

I could see Bortles being good for Shorts on deep routes but not so much for Blackmon.

To me Bridgewater is the only QB who combines what the others do to some extent while not showing any real weaknesses that the other possess.

Jaguars need an accurate QB who can manipulate the pocket, and have the ability to extend plays with legs if need be. Bridgewater.

I dont want a QB who has no bort

"Bortless"

The Jaguars need a Qb with playmaking ability and charisma. Manziel can make plays with his feet and his arm.  He reminds me of Russel WIlson but may have a higher ceiling.  The Jags lack playmakers on the outside combined with issues protecting their QB.  I don't think a pure pocket passer like bridgewater is a good fit for this team.
I think if the Jaguars did draft a QB in the 1st round which I am against, Johnny Football would be the better option.
Who is the best fit for THIS offense?  It's not Manziel.  Need someone who actually knows how to stay in a pocket and make plays.  In that instance, it's Bridgewater.

I think Bridgewater is a good fit. If they can somehow get Watkins in the first and then turn around and get Bridgewater in the second.

Oh man.

You've got me drooling, I think that's a possiblity, it might require a trade back into the latter part of the first round though.

If Bridgewater is there at 32, I have Gus Bradley call Pete Carroll.

That would be ideal, what pick or picks would you be willing to part with?
After watching more videos, Bridgewater has the best pocket awareness and movement in the draft.

Of course he does, Bridgewater excels in the most important area(s) for a quarterback, pocket awareness, pocket movement, pocket poise, toughness (staring down the barrel before a hit), football IQ, and short/intermediate accuracy. His game really reminds me of Tom Brady, Bridgewater is obviously more athletic, but from an arm talent (or lack thereof), pocket movement standpoint, they compare favorably.
