I would love to trade down. Thought we should have last year. I'd be surprised if Miami didn't offer the same thing to us that they offered to Oakland. IMHO I think we should have taken it if that was the case. We'll see what happens.

Youre out of you mind. he played 36 of 39 games and the play he really got hurt on was a freak punt return. This kid could be the best wide out in the draft after its all said and done.. if youre going to say Lee is a bust dont hide behind a farce of being injury prone.
I was talking more about his frame than one injury, I don't see the hype, he isnt a burner. he isnt big, he has bad hands... Someone explain the hype. Watching his highlights its just him being wide open because he played bad dbs.
Crabtree wasnt a burner but led his conference and was a Biletnikoff winner with big hands. also he wasnt but about an inch maybe 10lbs bigger than lee

Prospects of trading back would probably be better since there are a handful of teams behind us needing QB, too. Get them to think one is within reach, and they'll bite to get their guy. Then, trade back and we still get our guy.

What if he throws less Hennes but more Gabberts?
Falcons want up, we want down. I'd take swap firsts and take their 2nd round pick. :yes: We'd still be able to get a DE (Mack) and a QB in rounds 2-3.
Acquiring more picks is fine, but you need to draft contributors no matter where you pick and what position. Picking the wrong guy can set you back no matter what position - not just the QB.
