Quote:This guy sure loves running his mouth

You mean Johnny Manziel? He earned the right to run his mouth.
Quote:I don't like Clowney either because he has a problem between his ears.

DJ probably was thinking we need an exciting player instead of a traditional pocket passer.
Are you saying he's stupid?

You can tell by the way he plays on the field he understands the game just as well as any other DE, despite being a freak of nature that can get over on physical ability if he wanted.

Not at all. I mean he thinks he can be lazy in practice and still have a good game. His junior season is proof that is not true.

What does that have to do with his arrogant little rant?
People giving Clowney to little credit, he is better than Mario Williams coming out

You clearly didn't even read the article. Horrible, bias poster right here.

And, while someone like you might not understand, it's not arrogance, it's called being a competitor. But judging on your comments, I can tell you've never competed for a thing in your life.

No they're not. People are fully aware the Texans already have an elite defensive end and don't have a quarterback, so they would be stupid to pick Clowney instead of Bridgewater.

The only thing you participate in is doritos eating contest

Or they could be confident they could find a qb later on and develop as BOB is a qb guru and have potentially have two elite pass rushers

What arrogant little rant? He just said he wants to stay in Texas and is good enough to be the #1 pick. The other Texas team, obviously, would not pick him because the Cowboys already have a QB - and, at 16 or 17, he will be off the board by the time they are on the clock. So he needs to hope the Texans pick him instead of the Cowboys if he wants to stay in Texas.

If the Texans pick a quarterback later in the draft, they will just improve their backup quality at the position.

This boy here done got too salty over a post on a message board, sounding real Tim Tebow fanboy like!
Johnny Football is really saying" Please HOU, St.Louis or Jacksonville; draft me before Cleveland gets their chance at me. My fame and fortune will be over!"

He just wants to stay in Texas instead of visit once a year.
Quote:Yep, he grew up in Texas. But if he thinks he is good enough to be the #1 pick, he would say the same thing even if the Rams had it.
What if he gets drafted by the Texas Rangers and decides to play baseball?
What's the big deal? Peyton basically said the same thing to the Colts. Not that Manziel is Peyton but they were both untested rookies at the time. Also, what's his knock on Fritos, man??!!
Its funny how much people hate athletes who are cocky. Man if I was as good at a sport as Johnny was Id be saying the same ish.

Athletes do not owe the the public anything. Chuck Barkley put it perfectly when he said athletes arent role models. If you as a parent expect athletes to be your kids role models you are a bad parent. Simple as that.

Fritos suck bruh. Worst type of chip, and they really arent even a chip tbh.

The big deal is Johnny Manziel lived in Texas his whole life. This is not like a guy who grew up in New Orleans and went to college at Tennessee saying he wanted to be a Colt.

I swear you were attempting to refute this exact same argument, this exact same argument I was making, in another thread.
