Here is an open source bit
If you check that mcclain reporters twitter, he said that texans dont favor any of the 3 qbs over each other at the moment, appatently it is too early in the process
Texans might be keeping bridgewater and clowney in their back pocket and advertising jm and bortles as bait
Who knows

that was well worth the wait
i do agree you need time to pull stuff out your [BLEEP]
and that right there means for sure the jags have a first round grade on bridgewater...? don't get me wrong your probably right he is in my eyes the most pro ready qb in the draft... but if that's the definition of definitive proof
well no more hitting the gym for me I'm just gonna eat spinach and get ripped... thank you popeye
Quote:Russ Lande also had Ryan Nassib as his #1 overall player last year...not just #1 QB but first overall. He wound up going 110 overall.
Give him some slack, he was only off by 109 spots

This is about the texans board, You stated earlier that Gus and Dave's board had bridgewater as the #1 QB. I want proof of that lol not this random tihng about the texans.
Oh look another I hate Teddy thread by Clown boy. CLASSIC.

So every team should just wait until a once in a decade QB falls into their lap when they happen to have the first pick. Got it.
I liked Geno last year and I still receive a bunch of shots from users about it.
Lande loved Nassib and some ignore it.

Yeah Geno has become the crutch for QB fear because he is one of the rarest QBs who fell below where his evaluations said he should go, when most every QB gets drafted at or earlier than where they are rated.
This was of course due to Geno being brash, cocky, off putting, etc. during his interviews, even as far as skipping them entirely or texting and tweeting during them. Unfortunately it gave all of the QB fear people the straw man ammo they needed for a while.

Geno is going to be fine.
Ahhh.. The same Russ Lande who has Ryan Nassib going #1 overall last season?
Edit: I see people have already mentioned in earlier in the thread. HAHA. :teehee:
I think if Houston takes a QB it'll be Bortles. O'Brien seems like he wants things done a his way which would make taking Manziel a disaster. He also probably believes he can mold Bortles more than Bridgewater.
Well, if Geno Smith was the top-rated QB last season, worthy of being selected first by the Kansas City Chiefs, what value should the quarterback that smoked him 38-14 in the 2012 Pinstripe Bowl have?
Geno put up four points....for the other guys.

Aww... panties in a bunch again... cry for me. The clown that rides you like a circus bike, apparently.
Why does it hurt your feelings so that it's becoming more clear that this draft class just isn't all it was prematurely cracked up to be?
Also saw this article from him after hearing the radio interview.

According to trusted sources, the Texans are initially leaning towards taking either Blake Bortles or Johnny Manziel with the top pick. Although Manziel would obviously be the choice of owner Bob McNair, O'Brien is not sold that Manziel possesses the work ethic and intangibles necessary to be the face of a franchise.

As mentioned above, it has been suggested that the Texans may take a pass rusher with the first selection and try to select their quarterback in the second or third rounds. While this is definitely a possibility, it makes more sense to take a quarterback first overall if they believe one has frontline starter traits/tools, as waiting is a huge risk. Selecting Bortles with the first pick makes the most sense if they are not completely comfortable with Manziel's maturity and mental makeup.
Again, it sounds like the only thing driving the selection of any of these QBs high, is ironically, fear. Not that anyone is definitely sold on any these QBs. Because if any of these QBs were bonafide franchise guys, there would be no hesitation about taking one. And as they say, there's no reason to be coy about it if you have the first pick of the draft. Seems to me as if they know who they are willing to take, but are just dangling the pick out there in case anyone wants to trade for it. But again, that's not something you would do if that pick will get you the franchise QB you need.
